He busied himself till it was past seven. By the time the sun was out and most of the dew water evaporated, Bai Qinghao had collected around one kilogram of dew water.

After filling up the bottles, he had emptied them into the first aid kit before collecting more.

Combined with the water in the first aid kit, they now had 1.5 kilograms of water.

This would be somewhat sufficient to last them through the day.

At the very least, it was much better than what they had yesterday.

After collecting the water, he brought the first aid kit back to the shed. He planned to head to the beach to collect more crabs.

However, he saw that Fang Xinxin had already woken up. She had re-started the fire and even steamed some crabs. The freshly steamed crabs were arranged neatly on a large leaf.

This time, the crabs were not barbecued but steamed!

In fact, Fang Xinxin had also awoken when Bai Qinghao got up.

Slowly, she added more branches and firewood.

She arranged the stones which Bai Qinghao had used last night around it to form a new firepit. She then used the largest rock as a wok.

The large rock took thirty minutes before it was hot enough to cook.

Although the sea water could not be used to boil food, it could still be used to steam.

Thus, she picked a large leaf and folded it into a makeshift bowl. She then poured the sea water into the wok.

After that, she arranged the tree branches on top of the wok to make a simple steaming rack.

She placed the crabs on the steaming rack and as the seawater began to boil, the steam from it slowly cooked the crabs.

If they had been at home, the crabs would have been ready in fifteen minutes.

However, they did not have a lid for this wok. This steam escaped quickly and the crabs took nearly forty minutes to cook.

She also placed a pile of crabs around the fire and barbequed them.

When Bai Qinghao returned, four of the crabs were steamed while the rest were barbecued.

When she saw him, she immediately smiled. “Hubby, come have breakfast!”

Bai Qinghao had thought that it would take him three hours to catch the crabs and start another fire.

He did not expect his wife to have done it all by herself when he returned.

He was deeply moved. However, his heart also ached for her.

He approached her side quickly without pausing to glance at the food. He tugged her hands over and checked that they were not injured before relaxing.

He was worried that the tinders had extinguished and she had to start the fire by hand. If she did so, she would most definitely have hurt her hands.
