Her gaze shifted onto Huang Zhishu and Bai Chenxi. “They have never mistreated the two of you either.”

“But I don’t want those!” Bai Jingrou did not seem to feel the slightest guilt. “If they truly cared for me, they should have stopped Bai Qinghao and you from marrying! They should have made Bai Qinghao marry me!”

“No one can make decisions for me when it comes to my marriage.” At this point, Bai Qinghao’s words were also a silent admission of the Bai family’s elders’ feelings for Bai Jingrou.
