“Very good.” Fang Manxue admired herself and fed her own ego. “I’ve taken a shower. I’ve also tried on more than ten outfits and found the piece I am most satisfied with. I’m so beautiful. Is there a man who won’t act like a wolf when he sees me? Bai Qinghao will definitely not be able to resist me.”

Her gaze turned fierce. “Fang Xinxin, that ugly, idiotic trash. How does she have the ability to compete with me?”

Ugly, idiotic trash… that was her second sister’s true opinion of her. Outside the door, Fang Xinxin lifted a corner of her lip mockingly.

In her previous life, she had already learned of Fang Manxue’s true colours. Her heart had been thoroughly broken.

At present, she was numb and did not feel much.

Inside the room, Fang Manxue approached the vanity once more. She picked up an expensive bottle of french perfume and was about to spray it on herself, when she recalled the way Fang Xinxin had slandered her for having body odor. She felt that Bai Qinghao did not like her perfume scent and decided to put the bottle down.

She sniffed herself and made sure she only smelled of fragrant shower gel before setting her heart at ease. She then left the room.

She only took a few steps, but felt that someone was following her…

Fang Xinxin was right behind her. However, her footsteps were so light they could not be heard.

Fang Manxue turned around abruptly but did not see anyone.

This was because Fang Xinxin had perfected her ability… she had made herself invisible.

A cold breeze entered through the windows and blew past her.

“I must be over-imagining things. How could there be someone following me?” Fang Manxue did not want to scare herself. Her body was covered in goosebumps from the cold. She wrapped her arms around herself and rushed toward the third floor.

Fang Xinxin sneered.

So her second sister had some awareness in her.

It was the first room on the third floor. It’s door was firmly shut.

Fang Manxue took in a deep breath. She lifted her hand and curled her fingers to knock on the door.

She then appeared to have thought of something and changed her mind. She placed her hand on the door knob and twisted it lightly. “He actually locked it from inside.”

Did Bai Qinghao think that a locked door could stop her?

This was her room.

She brought out a key and tried to unlock the door quietly.

Creak…

With a light noise, the room door was pushed open.

The thick curtains covered the windows fully. It was late in the night and pitch-black in the room. She could not see her own fingers when she extended her hands.

Fang Manxue had sneaked into her own room. Even if she had trouble seeing, she could easily navigate the space.

She looked towards the large bed and vaguely saw that there was a figure asleep on the bed.

Based on the shape inside the blanket, it was clearly the figure of a tall man with a good figure.

Bai Qinghao!

At the thought that she was about to share a bed with him, about to become his woman, Fang Manxue could not suppress the agitation in her heart.

She did not make any noise as she quietly approached the bed.

The man on the bed had his back towards her.

She hesitated and wondered if she should crawl into the blanket with him right away.

She really did not know how Fang Xinxin, that weirdo, made it so that he would not resist her touch.

Fang Manxue was fearful of being kicked. However, she didn’t want to give up.

She hesitated for several seconds before pinching a corner of the sheets. She sneakily slipped inside of the blankets and laid down behind him.

To her surprise… he did not react?

It was already four in the morning. He was likely to be exhausted.
