Chapter 12: Qinghao’s Taste is Unique

She had frequently embarrassed Bai Qinghao in the past and did not bother to conceal her love for Bai Chenxi.

“And what about your thoughts?” Bai Qinghao’s expression was cold and indifferent.

He spoke as though her answer would not affect him.

Only God knew how fearful he was of hearing her say that she liked Bai Chenxi.

Just the thought of her feelings for Bai Chenxi caused his chest to immediately start throbbing painfully.

Everytime this issue came to mind, his heart would ache.

She spoke unhurriedly and made use of Bai Chenxi’s words to assert her stance. “I, naturally… am the same as Bai Chenxi. To me, he is just your cheap cousin.”

Bai Qinghao had prepared himself for the blow when he heard her first few words. However, when he received her full answer, his nervous heart eased slightly. “Really?”

She could not blame him for being suspicious of her. Fang Xinxin recalled the way she used to declare her feelings for Bai Chenxi in front of Bai Qinghao. She really wished she could swallow back all of those words now.

She promised him with a look of certainty. “No matter who I may lie to, I won’t lie to you.”

For some strange reason, Bai Qinghao felt his entire heart warming up because of her words. Instead of the sharp pain from earlier, he now felt comforted.

Bai Chenxi did not believe her. This was because he had always assumed that he was fatally attractive. Moreover, he was convinced that Fang Xinxin, the dumb trash, would be head over heels in love with him for the rest of her life.

He guessed that she had said so because she was fearful of the dire consequences at this moment.

Fang Xinxin saw that Bai Qinghao was silent and pointed at the red stain on the bed. She said, “Look. There’s the evidence that there’s absolutely nothing between Bai Chenxi and I.”

How could Bai Qinghao not know how pure she was…
