Gong Yimo swallowed the sweet flat round cake questioningly, attempting to reason. “Gong Jue, this isn’t right.”

“Eat your cake.”

He stiffly fed her the cake.

Gong Yimo forgot to chew the cake in her mouth. She asked with her mouth muffled, “Why?”

His fingers landed between her brows, his tone extremely lingering.

“I uncontrollably fell in love with you. But I can only see you and not touch you.” He softly sighed. “You might not be able to imagine but I didn’t even dare to take an extra glance at you in the royal palace. I wanted to keep staring at you but I was scared of you feeling disgusted at me because of this deformed relationship. That’s why I kept on holding back, kept on holding back.
