Chapter 337: Take You Somewhere

Wang Yunzhi was trying anything when in a desperate situation. She regretted her words after saying them. Just as her husband had said, she shouldn’t approach her brother to help her no matter who she begged.

The relationship between the siblings was thin, so Wang Yunzhi did not want to owe her brother a favor.

“Where are we going?” Wang Yunzhi blurted out.

Jian Ai smiled and kept her in suspense. “You’ll know when we get there.”

She knew that if she told Wang Yunzhi that she had opened a company, Wang Yunzhi might not believe her immediately. After all, she was still a child in her aunt’s eyes. Therefore, Jian Ai planned to bring Wang Yunzhi to the company and let reality speak for her instead.

She initially wanted to take her uncle with her as well, but he had hurt his leg, so Jian Ai had to give up.

Wang Yunzhi didn’t think too much about it. She initially planned to walk around in the afternoon and see if she could find a job.

The dark clouds lingered in the sky for more than an hour, but there was no rain. After the meal, the sun was high in the sky.

Wang Yunzhi tidied up the kitchen and went out with Jian Ai.

When they passed Jian Ai’s house, Wang Yunzhi couldn’t help but look inside. Seeing that the door was locked, she couldn’t help but ask, “Isn’t your mother at home?”

Because of her job, Wang Yunmei usually stayed at home during the day and only went out to work at night.

Over the past few days, she had been staying in the hospital. Wang Yunzhi had been to the hospital a few times, but Jian Ai made things up and confused her. She was also afraid that her aunt would worry.

Jian Ai shook her head. “The new house is undergoing renovations. My mother is very busy.”

This reason was the best and the most convincing.

As expected, Wang Yunzhi nodded when she heard that, but she said, “I happen to be free this time. I’ll help your mother when the time comes.”

Jian Ai had a faint smile on her face. Thinking that her mother would be discharged in a few days, she didn’t beat around the bush anymore and just nodded.

When they reached the junction, there were a few small three-wheelers parked there. Taxis rarely waited for customers in a place like South City. These small three-wheelers were South City’s easy-style taxis.

After getting on the three-wheelers, Wang Yunzhi wanted to go to Zhonglou District to take a look. After all, if she wanted to find a job, it was better to be closer to home. It would also be convenient for her to cook for Jiachi.

However, before she could say anything, Jian Ai said to the tanned driver, “Sir, to Haicheng District’s Huayuan Street.”

When the driver heard this, he immediately started the engine. The three-wheeler made a series of sounds before driving towards Haicheng District.
