Chapter 137: The Invisible Distance Between the Two

Lin Yi rarely lost his temper for no reason. Yan Tian and Gao Yang couldn’t help but stand there stunned. They looked at each other, not knowing what had happened.

“What’s going on? Did we offend him?” Yan Tian walked forward naked as he said that with a frown. He then looked at the entrance of the hot spring.

Gao Yang took off his watch and whispered, “The atmosphere at dinner was weird today. It’s probably because of Jian Yiyi.”

“Tsk…” Yan Tian curled his lips. “Isn’t that a good thing? In my opinion, with so many people chasing after Lin Yi, only Jian Yiyi is the best. Be it looks, temperament, or family background, I think she’s the most compatible with Lin Yi.”

Yan Tian had such thoughts in his heart. Moreover, Jian Yiyi, a girl, had already taken the initiative. Everything that she had arranged for today and after she gave him such an expensive gift, it ultimately was a disguised confession. If it were any other boy, they would probably be so happy that they could not close their mouths.

No one knew what Lin Yi was trying to do.

Gao Yang looked up at Yan Tian with a calm disposition. “Can’t you tell?”

“What?” Yan Tian frowned, not knowing what Gao Yang meant.

Gao Yang helplessly shook his head and thought to himself that Yan Tian was indeed well built and yet so simple-minded.

“Tsk!” When Yan Tian saw this, he raised his eyebrows impatiently and slapped Gao Yang on the buttocks. “Tell me. Why are you keeping me in suspense?!”

Gao Yang hated it when others slapped his buttocks, so he immediately glared at him. Yan Tian acted as if he didn’t see it and anxiously urged, “What do you mean? Tell me quickly.”

Gao Yang glared at him and calmly said, “Lin Yi likes Jian Ai.”

“Huh?” Yan Tian was stunned. When he reacted, he waved his hand in disbelief. “Impossible. That’s impossible.”

Gao Yang said nothing. Lin Yi had rejected Jian Ai before. When they went to the arcade a few days ago, Yan Tian specially asked Lin Yi if he had feelings for Jian Ai. Lin Yi denied it at that time, so it was no wonder that Yan Tian didn’t believe him.

However, Gao Yang believed in his intuition. After Jian Ai appeared today, he had seen Lin Yi’s every move and the way he looked at Jian Ai.

“No…” Yan Tian couldn’t wrap his head around it. He looked at Gao Yang and said, “What’s so good about Jian Ai? I admit that she’s pretty, but other than that, don’t you think she’s weird?”

Gao Yang took off his underwear and said without looking up, “You’re prejudiced against Jian Ai!”

It was not a question, but a statement! From the moment Jian Ai asked Lin Yi to treat her to lunch for a month, Yan Tian always had a grudge against Jian Ai.

“Don’t blame it on me!” Yan Tian had a serious look on his face. “I’m already friendly to her because of Qinghuan. We’re talking about Jian Ai as a person now. Tell me the truth. Don’t you think she’s acting a little weird?”

“No,” Gao Yang calmly said as he wrapped a towel around himself. He ignored Yan Tian and walked towards the hot spring.

“Alright, all of you like her, but I’m the only one who doesn’t like her. Will that do?! I’m prejudiced against her!” Yan Tian said with a look of resignation.

In the hot spring, Lin Yi leaned his head against the shore. His body was soaked in the hot spring, revealing only half of his firm chest.

He raised his head slightly, and the towel covered half his face. No one could see his expression.

His heart was in a mess. Lin Yi had many emotions stuck in his chest, but he couldn’t find an outlet.

It was not because of Jian Yiyi or anyone else. It was because he could finally face his feelings for Jian Ai. However, he felt that Jian Ai was pushing him away.

He could clearly feel the invisible distance between the two of them.
