Rebirth of Chen An Chapter 25

Ivanov was humming as he lain down on the bed while watching TV, occasionally turned to listen to the water sounds in the bathroom. There was a conflicted expression in his eyes as he started to enter the room. This man called Chen An was the first man to sleep in his bed and use his bathroom. He never imagined that someday this kind of situation would ever happen.

In the end, why did he want to drag that drunken man into his room without letting other people bring Chen An back to his own room?

Still in a cozy mood, Ivanov suddenly gazed at Chen An’s bag with the corner of his eyes. He took a glance towards the bathroom, and then decided to walk to the bag, slowly squatting to open the zipper. Inside was a Camera LSR in addition to a simple wallet. Besides the wallet, there was another unrecognizable bag.

When Ivanov was just about to take a look, he then heard a sudden buzzing sound. He put the other bag into his hand and started to walk towards the source of the noise, which turned out to be a cell phone.

“Chen Yang?” Ivanov understood Chinese and the caller ID on the screen showed someone named Chen Yang.

Seeing that the phone’s vibration wasn’t stopping, Ivanov’s finger tapped the screen, and connecting the call. He hadn’t even started to speak when, when the other side, the voice of a worried young man began to talk.

“Uncle, are you already on board? I have called you all day, why aren’t you answering? Are you okay?” The man rapidly spoke, revealing an anxious and worried mood.

Ivanov almost laughed out loud, but his eyes flashed with a trace of maliciousness. Answering in fluent Chinese while laughing, he said, “Are you looking for Chen An? Sorry, right now he’s bathing so he can’t answer the phone. If there are any problems you can just tell me.”

“…… who are you? Uncle?” The other side seemed surprised that the one who answered the call wasn’t Chen An.

“Eehmm … I am … I’m your uncle’s best friend. He drank with me today, and he’s in my bathroom right now.” Ivanov spoke some words that could be easily misunderstood, while at the same time asking him a question. “What are you to An?”

An? He was calling him so familiarly!

Ivanov didn’t have the energy to continue talking to someone he didn’t know. Even though the other side who was calling seemed to be young, but he wasn’t his taste at all.

Hearing the sounds in the bathroom stop, Ivanov directly cut off the call, casually holding the off button and shoving the phone back into Chen An’s bag before closing the zipper. Ivanov then turned his body and went back, leisurely laying himself on the bed again like nothing had happened.

A “click” could be heard along with the opening bathroom door and a wet haired man walked out from the inside.

Chen An closed the bathroom door, taking a light glance at Ivanov, who also looked at him with an interested gesture. Ivanov then waved his hand and said, “are you already sober?”

“En. I’m going home now.” Chen An was clearly awake after taking a bath and now felt a little hungry.

“After making other people worked up with worry, how can you just go home like that? Take a seat for a while.” Ivanov smiled and patted the empty space beside him on the bed.

Chen An frowned, telling Ivanov that his last move could make people easily misunderstand the request. Not being able to hold it in any longer, Ivanov started laughing. With an exaggerated expression on his face, he spoke. “You don’t think I’m interested in you, right?”
