Chi Shuyan was simply struck by a bolt from the blue and was stupefied as she replied to her father. She didn’t know how she returned the phone to Grandpa or how she went upstairs. When she went upstairs to her room and met the man who had just come out of the study, Chi Shuyan snapped out of her trance.

When Qi Zhenbai saw his wife come back, he wrapped his arm around her waist out of habit and gently led her back to their room. Inside, he immediately kissed her on the lips.
