Chapter 166: Unfulfilled Desire

Chi Shuyan noticed that the man’s face wasn’t quite right early in the morning. She didn’t know if it was her illusion, but she felt that this man’s face was too cold when facing her. Usually, he would at least give her an occasional smile, but this morning, his face was as cold as ice.

If it wasn’t because she hadn’t had much interaction with this man that morning, she would have thought that she had provoked him.

After listening to her, Qi Zhenbai carried the bag of rice to the entrance of the community without flushing or gasping for breath. Chi Shuyan was surprised at the man’s strength. Qi Zhenbai’s gaze froze when it fell on the red ring around her wrist. Or was this man planning to break up with her as soon as they got together? If this was the case, that would be a relief!
