Chapter 2085  Victory (Merry Christmas From Author)

The rest of the audience doesn't know that Sam is the one under that cloak and mask fighting against White. For them, he is a complete stranger who just happened to be a pain in the ass. A pain in the ass that messed up their plan to destroy Stone. But now that they saw how good he is against White, they became nervous.

Most of the audience are from the Noble League and they are already having a hard time with existing talented people. Sam's presence itself caused them a bunch of headaches.

At least, White is somewhat in control. But they are planning to kill off Sam with an elaborate scheme for a while now. But now, there is another guy who popped out of nowhere.

This is bad news for the first graders.

Stone just looked at the match with excitement and once in a while he savored the ugly looks of the Noble league people.

On the stage, the fighting is going on, but it is not going anywhere. White noticed that Sam is almost done with orb. It finally reached the size of the energy bullets he previously shot out.

*BOOM*

Sam suddenly took the hit from White, but White wasn't least bit happy. Just from the way the recoil felt, he knew Sam did it to create some distance between themselves and the Divine energy orb…

Sam swung it towards White who hurriedly channeled his own Divine energy and got ready to block the coming bullet.

*SWOOHS*

The orb made a whistling sound as it came at White. Aiming straight at his heart.

White stabbed the cane into the air. The divine energy filled recoil hit… everyone is expected an explosive sound, however to their surprise, the energy seemed to have frozen on the state. The recoil hit which usually starts at an extremely narrow point landed squarely on the surface of the spherical orb.

But instead of exploding, it actually created a hole on the orb and entered the middle of it. Or it would be more accurate to say the orb seemed to have opened up itself and let the recoil hit enter its center.

As if it had a mind of its own the orb stopped mid-air and the hole closed up.

All of this happened within the fraction of second, so for people that are not involved and are not able to sense it, it seemed like the recoil hit landed and disappeared while the orb became stagnant for half a second.

And before they could make sense of it, it started expanding it.

Sam closed his eyes with his staff extended. He kept a steady breath and controlled the orb. What no one, including White and the audience didn't notice is the intricate structure within the orb. For them, it just looked like an extremely concentrated mass of Divine energy.

But inside, Sam created a nodal structure that would put the world-class formation masters, including the ones in the god's army to shame.

When the recoil hit went inside, it actually exploded like its meant to be, but the smaller nodes within it absorbed the hit and spread it out. With resonance, the nodes around these first set of nodes are doing the same.

And this chain reaction continued making all the nodes resonate at the same time and the constant collision of energy is making the orb expand. All of this is happening within a second and Sam is keeping the orb stable so that it can keep expanding without the explosion. The larger it is, the better the explosion is and he doesn't want to waste it out in the open.

White noticed that something is wrong. He slid to the side and used a recoil hit to close the distance between him and Sam.

He aimed at cane at Sam's head. But Sam kicked the ground to the side and skated in the air. With his eyes still closed. He dodged the attack narrowly while still focusing on the orb. He started sweating with the stress his mind is taking.

But he didn't dare let it go. The orb kept on expanding.

White noticed this and gritted his teeth. He aimed his hand at Sam while aiming the cane at the Orb. Two recoil hits at the same time while he stood rooted to the ground. To his surprise, not only did Sam appear flustered in his actions, instead he gracefully moved. He jumped into the air and spun around dodging the attack while the orb followed the direction of the staff and let the recoil hit go past it.

White started sensing the threat brewing inside the orb. The energy around his body started vibrating. His speed increased and he became on with the surrounding energy. Sam smiled at this. The orb stopped expanding. But he still didn't open the eyes nor did he throw the attack.

*SWOOSH*

White whistled through the air as he came close to Sam. Sam dodged the swing of the cane and slid to the side. All the while spinning the staff. Now the orb followed it and finally hovered behind Sam.

Sam levitated in the air and extended his fingers to taunt White to make a move.

What everyone saw next is White moving like a fish in the water. He showed the movement technique that they have never seen. His dexterity and agility are off the charts. But what they saw Sam do, is even more incomprehensible.

For everyone to see, Sam just played with the energy orb and the staff, tossing it and spinning it along with the staff, but all the while dodging all of White's attacks and moves. They are in close range. Both the fighters and the orb, but not a single one of them made contact with each other. It didn't look like a fight anymore.

It is more like a game of tag.

After around three minutes, White finally managed to land a hit.

*BOOM*

Sam was thrown to the edge of the stage and White also was sent back with the recoil. However, it was Sam who had a smile on his face behind the mask, while White had an expression of horror.

As soon as there was enough distance, Sam threw the orb at White.

*SWOOSH*

The orb disappeared like it was doing a spatial blink, even before White could stop from the recoil, the orb is already about to make contact with him.

"FUCK"

He cursed and used his cane like a club. Channeling all the Divine energy he could muster with a recoil hit. Trying to hit the orb like a baseball.

*BOOM*

However, it already exploded.

With the explosion, everyone saw an amazing scene. The nodes of the orb separated and they spread all over the store with the point of explosion as the center. The energy wave that was caused by the explosion, shook White's innards. But he wasn't thrown away. He is practically stuck at the center of all these nodes.

*ZAP*

With a zapping noise all these spread out nodes connected with each other with energy lines and at the next moment. They moved to the center or in other words the place where White is standing.

*BOOM*

With an explosion, all the nodes are extremely charged with vibrating divine energy collided together. They all went through an individual explosion all at the same time and these explosions also collided with each other.

White's body took in almost eight volleys of explosions. He could feel his white coat exploding along with the energy barrier he created around himself. Then the explosions started spreading to his flesh. At first it was very painful, but soon he felt so numb, that he couldn't feel anything.

The blood loss made him feel dizzy.

At this moment, Sam stood there and watched this. He is panting. He exhausted a lot of energy this time around. The only reason this looked easy is because of how much he expended throughout the whole time.

He felt a bit gratified with how well the whole plan worked though.

Christos frowned as he looked at this.

He immediately raised his hand and admitted defeat. The referee jumped onto the stage and brought White back before Sam had a chance to finish him off.

"One more time. This guy is a bit too lucky for his own good."

He muttered to himself and got off the stage. "Who are you?" Christos made his way to Sam and asked.

"Someone you have no business knowing."

He turned to Stone and said.

"I will see you soon. Continue with your task and call me again when you are suspicious about such an attack. I will jump in and might even give you some discount."

Stone didn't understand why Sam spoke such words. It is essentially, him giving away the fact Stone is getting information about Noble league's attacks beforehand.

Christos of course is not dumb enough to not pick it up. He looked at Stone and then at his own crew.
