Chapter 2079  Asking Help

"Greetings Lord Theron."

Pearl greeted in a low tone. That is how she talked to her father. She couldn't even begin to remember when she actually addressed him as father and she is definitely sure that she never called him with terms of endearment like Dad or daddy.

"Why are you here?"

Theron spoke without opening his eyes.

"I am here to seek your help, my lord."

"Last time I checked, you are still an academy student. Do you need my help even for the puny missions of the Academy?"

"No My lord, it is not about the academy missions. It is about a person in the Academy. The plans that I told you before are seeing obstacles one after another with no success in sight.

Unless this person is eliminated, it is impossible to proceed forward with my plans."

"Which family does he belong to? Is he from the Noble league? Do you need my recommendation?"

His tone is filled with displeasure. And there is a hint of mocking as well.

"No, My lord. He doesn't belong to the Noble league and he is not part of any Olympian academy. He is from the Gambler Academy."

As soon as she finished speaking, the waterfall stopped flowing as if the time has stopped.

He opened his eyes and looked at her. His eyes are a bit abnormal. He has red eyes, but unlike the eyes of the vampire, the tone of the color is a mixture of black and red. It is a color more menacing than red color.

It is almost like blood of a person tried to paint the darkness in red, but was being devoured. That is the only possible description that even Pearl could come up with.

She couldn't maintain eye contact for even a couple of seconds.

"You are telling me that you, the daughter of Theron is stumped by a single student in the Gambler Academy and came begging for my help? Are you even my daughter?"

His aura fell on her and Pearl immediately crashed into the ground. She could even raise her head from the ground. The pressure made her spit up some blood and only they did it lessen a bit.

"My Lord, that person is out of ordinary. He is unlike any other student that ever stepped foot in the Academy realm.

He managed to make the Gambler Academy give out a special admission, he conquered two Academy towers of the Thor Academy and Hel academy.

Not just high score, he reached and cleared the hundred floors, the first in the history. He has been on logger heads with the Olympian Academies since the start and his strength is beyond any Grade one student.

Even some of the early stage Grade 2 students feel helpless in front of him.

He won the freshmen tournament. Not just the solo combat, he even singlehandedly won the team combat for his team and destroyed twenty freshmen that targeted him. All of them are elites among elites.

Nobody knows where he came from and nobody knows what his plan is, even uncle didn't want to divulge any information regarding him."

She spoke as fast as she can without even stopping for one second. Unlike most people Theron didn't have much of an opinion on the Academy realm. It indeed produces results, but most of the people there end up being the lackeys of gods.

For a person like him, who wanted to be a god, that place didn't seem fit. He quit the school in the middle and went to find his own path and most of his peers are nowhere near his match in any metric they want to measure.

But still, the results of the Academy realm give out a pretty good estimation on a person's strength and potential.

So, if what his daughter said is true, then that person is a really special person among his peers.

Just like Theron is.

His interest is finally piqued.

"So, this person is targeting you since the start?"

"Yes, Lord. He has been after me from his first day in the Academy. He provoked my people, taunted me in every step and even spoiled every one of my plans deliberately. It almost feels like someone has put him up for this."

"If someone is really that strong and that capable. Why would they want to target you? You haven't show anything remotely remarkable in Academy realm and except for being my daughter and Dean's niece, you barely have any achievements of yourself. It doesn't make any sense."

Pearl froze for a moment and spoke in a low tone.

"Maybe, it is because of that My Lord. Maybe they are trying to target you and Uncle through me."

"That indeed could be the reason. I don't see any other plausible cause there. That or, you should be special enough to be acknowledged by such an entity, which rarely happens from my experience."

Pearl didn't dare speak up, but inside she is burned in up in anger and pain. Her own father's condescension towards her is making her experience an agony that she could never get from anyone else.

However, the fear induced by her father is far too great for her to respond.

"So, what do you need my help for?"

Pearl continued to explain her situation and why she actually came here. After around fifteen minutes, he nodded.

"It is indeed a great plan. But to think that you are using such a plan to deal with a freshman. Do you really believe he is worth it?"

"I believe so, My lord."

"It better be, because for this plan to be implemented, I need to speak to people myself and if you fail, you will face consequences that you cannot bear. Do you still want to go with it?"

"Yes, my lord."

"At least, you have guts." He paused before continuing.

"How is your sister doing?" Pearl felt like her heart was caught in a cold grip.

"S… She…"

"Don't bother trying to cover up. I know she is still acting up. Tell her that I will soon lose my patience. The deadline I gave for her will be over, then if she still doesn't change, she will have to marry whoever I say she has to marry."

"U..understood my lord."

"Get lost."

Theron commanded and a huge gale hit her, carrying her through the mountains and throwing her down out of that mountain range.

She heaved a sigh of relief and she also felt a bit less cautious. Only now did she realize how much her energy was restricted in that mountain range. She heaved a sigh and contacted someone. A servant from her father's estate.

"Contact these following people. Arrange meetings with their family heads as soon as possible. Tell them, I am meeting them with the blessing of my father."

"Understood, young miss."

The servant went ahead with the instructions.

Meanwhile, back in the Academy realm.

Sam is oblivious to the conversation between this weird father and daughter pair. He is busy with something else.

He reached the Norse region and went to meet Ivar.

He gave the recording of the two elders' discussion.

"So, they are sending someone to a particular place. It is better if you follow that person."

"I understand. I know what to do. I didn't expect this plan to actually work. Even though I know of the incident, I don't really have much evidence against it."

"Of course, the best kind of lie is something that is mixed with truth. Same goes with bluffing."

Sam then took out a crystal table and gave it to him.

"The person will be wearing a wrist band of the hub, so he will be easier to track. Once I confirm who is being sent, I will automatically update the tablet with their signature. As long as you are within a certain radius, you can easily track them.

Follow them and get the rest of the evidence and also make sure that they know you got the evidence. That will provoke a proper move."

"Alright. This is fine, but what about the remaining regions? The rest of them are getting a bit impatient."

"Don't worry about it. The hub's construction is going well in every region. They might be finished in just a week or so. If the pocket dimensions open, I need to redeem my reward with the Pseudo hell dimension. Once that is done, we can proceed with the next plan.

The presence of hub is vital for collecting the information needed for this plan."

"Alright, I will inform them. Maybe one of these days, we can hold a meeting. That way, they can be more assured."

"Not a problem. We can arrange that. By the way, there will be a guy named Donner coming here soon. He will be admitted into the Thor academy.

Keep an eye on him for me."

"Alright. So, he is also like you?"

"Kind of. What about the information that I asked you of?"

"The one related to the followers of Hel? You will get it in a couple of days."
