Chapter 2054 Final Surgery

Stone is in the middle of training by the time Sam arrived.

He greeted Sam politely.

"So, how are you feeling now?" Sam asked.

"I am feeling great. I can wield a lot of Spiritual energy compared to before. My cultivation level also raised rapidly. However, my body is not accumulating any Divine energy to breakthrough past that barrier."

"Don't worry, I am going to fix that. I have already prepared for it a long time ago. You will be the first Divine Plane cultivator, who didn't use the conventional measures to breakthrough. You will have your final surgery today.

So, be prepared. Make sure your body is in its best condition. Not even a trace of muscle fatigue should be there. Go and Heal if you have any right now."

"Yes, Sir."

Stone left to do a full examination of his body.

Sam then went to Hub without anyone watching. He appeared in the hidden room under the hub. The room doesn't have any doors or paths leading to it. The only way to enter is through the spatial transfer. The room is currently empty and with a snap of his fingers, the tables and chairs disappeared, leaving the room completely empty.

He turned the wall that was on his left hand side.

The wall is purely made of metal. Exactly in the center of the wall, there is a vertical line indicating that it was joined there by some means. Sam placed his hand on the wall and injected his Divine energy.

*CREAK*

The sound of metal griding filled the whole room, a pattern glowed on the wall and soon an opened appeared in the middle of it all. It is a path that only one person could walk through. There is even an energy shield present.

Sam walked through the energy shield and marveled at the sight in front of him. Even though he was the one who created this, he still cannot help but feel delighted by what he saw.

There are several pillars that are acting as foundational support for hub. No one knew that the ground underneath the hub is actually hollow.

In fact, the foundation was dug way deeper into the ground and it is connected to the main building through a central pillar which is built and reinforced with special alloys Sam created. They are also reinforced with countless formations and inscriptions. Even without them, the structural integrity of the alloys itself is good enough.

In between the central pillar lies the secret room where Sam and his team usually meet.

This central pillar and four special walls divide the place into four pieces and Sam is currently in one of those areas.

From the pathway that he just came in, there is a small path that is only suitable for one person to walk is leading towards the central part of this area. This central part holds one of the energy reservoirs of the hub.

There are four in total.

There are several pipes connecting the bottom of the hub and the central part. They are all glowing light pillars that came from the top and disappeared into the darkness. Sam went to the central part and tapped on a transparent tablet that was placed there for his use.

He can control one fourth of energy operations of the hub from here. He can actually do it with his mind from anywhere in the Olympian region, but that takes too much of his mental power. However, here he can just do it with a touch of his finger.

He started pressing some buttons on the tablet before the reservoir glowed. The spherical dome of the reservoir split open and from within came a few orbs that are glowing like light bulbs. They are as big as quail eggs and they are brimming with Divine energy.

There are fifteen of them in total and among them, three of them appeared different. They are a big bigger compared to the remaining twelve.

Sam made them float and probed one of the smaller ones. As soon as his energy made contract, the spherical shape it had was disturbed and it collapsed like it was made of some gel like substance. With his energy control, he can manipulate it like slime.

However, the three big ones didn't react the same way. When Sam's energy made contact with them, they started sprouting some small tendrils out of their bodies. Sam stopped interacting with them and disconnected himself from the reservoir.

He carefully placed the fifteen orbs in the Divine dimension as he made his way back to the central room. He locked the hub and left the place. He reappeared in the surgery room that he prepared for Stone previously.

Stone is already waiting for him there.

Sam laid down a formation and let him stand in the middle.

"Let yourself go. Don't worry about anything that you might experience. I am telling you, there was nothing like this in this world before and there might not be another one.

As much as this is a life changing moment for you, this will be a historical moment for me as well. You wouldn't even be able to comprehend the importance of it, even if I explained. So, no matter how much pain you are in once I start this, I will not be letting you go in the middle.

That opportunity has long passed.

So, you have to follow through this no matter what happens.

You cannot faint, you have to stay awake and you have to suppress all of your energy back into your core while I perform this. The rest of your body should be complete devoid of any energy. Your spiritual sense should be at its highest focus and you need to control your energy to do whatever I tell you to do.

Stone nodded solemnly.

He removed all of his clothes and stood in the middle of the formation naked.

Sam activated the formation.

Stone started levitating. He completely let himself be controlled by the formation and didn't resist.

"Suppress your Spiritual energy."

Sam instructed. Stone closed his eyes and did as he was told. Within two minutes, his body is devoid of spiritual energy. Except for his core, he is just an abnormally strong but still a normal human. Sam waved his hand and the fifteen orbs started floating around him.

The three big orbs are the first ones to move.

Sam moved them slowly aiming them at three spots. One of them is his glabella, which is the pathway to his upper dantian.

The second one is directed at his chest, the middle dantian, the final one is aimed at the lower abdomen, the lower dantian.

Stone felt like he is looking at a superior existence as he saw the three orbs make their way towards his body. They are full of compressed Divine energy, there is so much energy in them that if a normal Peak stage Astral Plane cultivator consumed the orb without any hitch, they could easily breakthrough to the Divine Plane Initiation and they will not have any energy deficiency to even gain some progress in that stage.

It would take mines and mines of resources and loads and loads of herbs to accumulate that much energy in a person's body. Even that cannot be consumed directly. It will take months for even a moderately talented person to digest all of this.

And Sam managed to collect all of this energy thanks to the hub.

When these people are using their attacks in the simulators and the arcade section, all of that energy is being redirected into several channels. One of those channels converts all the energy into neutral energy and then stores in the reservoirs of the four areas.

Each reservoir has a specialty apart from the common functions and the reservoir Sam just accessed is designed specifically to make these orbs.

Sam decided to call them artificial cores and they have many forms and many times. However, this particular type is specially made for Stone and Stone alone.

The three orbs touched Stone's skin. He could feel the cells in his muscles dying. He could feel his vitality leaving his body. If not for Sam forcefully suppressing the energy within the orbs, Stone would have exploded into a bloody mist upon the first contact.

The three orbs pierced through his flesh and slowly started dissolving into his body up on Sam's guidance.

The middle dantian, is the first one to react because of the spiritual core. The middle orb connected with the Dantian and it started devouring it greedily. The artificial core merged with the spiritual core and it wanted to take its place.

Spreading its energy, but since Sam is compressing it and Stone himself is also compressing it, it couldn't spread the energy wildly.

Sam simulated it to create the tendrils and these slowly expanded. Soon, the upper and lower artificial cores merged into their respective dantians. One simulating the physical strength and the other simulating the sea of consciousness.

The energy tendrils spread out as they spread into different meridian channels connecting the whole body.

Stone tried his best to suppress them.

Sam made the twelve small artificial cores that are malleable and hovered them closer to Stone's body.

They all targeted the twelve primary meridians. As soon as they made contact with them, they wiggled like slimes and started dissolving into the meridian networks.

"Slowly release your energy. Let the tendrils make contact with these new meridians."

These malleable artificial cores are dissolving into meridian networks. Meridians are not usually energy stores, only cores can do that, however this malleable artificial core took the shape of the meridian network and converted the whole network into an energy store and once the tendrils discovered this reaction, they immediately connected with the modified network.

Now the difficult part is over.

It is time for both of them to stay patient as these cores do their jobs.
