There was no escape.

Arthur wrapped his coat around Bai Weiwei’s body and walked out with light and graceful steps.

As he passed by Moore, he lowered his head, his eyes cruel and cold.

“You didn’t touch her, so I won’t kill you.”

It was the same tone used to bestow a gift.

He was facing a Blood Kin of equal prince rank, but Arthur acted as though he was standing before a humble slave.

He slept for many years, was not awake for many days, and rarely went out.

So many of them forgot how terrifying and cruel he was when he put down the rebellion, and how fervently he was admired.

As long as the Blood Kin had him, no matter what happened, they would not be annihilated.

Moore once again experienced the oppression that surpassed prince rank.

They were clearly the same rank but Arthur could suppress him.

Moore watched Arthur pick up his cute little blood slave, then nonchalantly saunter out.

He wanted to shelter a rebel, and no Blood Kin dared to stop him.

Not to mention, Bai Weiwei was not a rebel.

“How miserable, I thought we were friends.”

Moore helplessly got to his feet and began to look for his severed limb. The attack this time was too powerful.

Several of the Blood Kin at the scene were sliced up beyond recovery and died.

Bai Weiwei slept fitfully.

The system silently looked down at the dried mango in its hand. Should it throw it away and get rid of the evidence?

Next to the soft bed, Arthur rested his chin on one hand, eyes closed. His pale face was slightly wan.

He suddenly opened his eyes vigilantly and saw Bai Weiwei dreaming with a painful expression on her face.

She seemed to be sleep talking, but the bits and pieces were too confusing, and Arthur couldn’t understand it.

Was she having a nightmare?

Arthur lowered his head, fingers lightly touching her face. He could feel the fever receding.

He whispered softly, “Don’t be scared, I’m here.”
