Bai Weiwei: “Pft–!”

How could there be someone who said such funny things so seriously.

She continued, “Alright, I believe you. Now come on, turn around.”

Ye Yuxuan looked at her in hesitation, as though afraid that once he turned around, she would disappear.

Bai Weiwei stretched out a foot and gave him a soft kick, demanding coquettishly, “Hurry up ah, how can you be someone’s fiancé? So disobedient.”

Ye Yuxuan shifted his body and turned around.

He suddenly felt a weight on his back. It was Bai Weiwei lying on him. “Fiancé, carry me.”

Ye Yuxuan’s posture stiffened. He felt her soft body rubbing against his sturdy arms.

He reached up behind him and carried her on his back.

Bai Weiwei lay bonelessly on his back.

“Let’s go to the bathroom. I want to take a shower.”

Ye Yuxuan’s footsteps paused after a half-step. “Us?”

Bai Weiwei’s soft voice deliberately nestled by his ear, like an alluring enchantress.

“En, hurry up ah.”

Ye Yuxuan: “…”

He mumbled out an “en,” then strode over quickly and neatly to the bathroom door. He lifted his long leg and gave the door a hard kick.

The door opened and smashed into the wall with a bang.

Such strength, enough to kill people.

Bai Weiwei witnessed Ye Yuxuan’s savage behavior and suddenly wondered if she’d been too seductive.

Turning him into a beast.

They entered the bathroom. She climbed down from his back with some effort, then looked at Ye Yuxuan. “Still not drawing the water?”

Ye Yuxuan blinked once, looking somewhat silly.

Perhaps it was the first time someone acted so arrogant and bossy with him that he found it peculiar and novel.

If other people had talked to him like this, he would have simply ignored them.

But this person was Bai Weiwei.

There was a wave of joy in his heart.

Because ever since she said she hated him, all of her expressions and actions were genuine.

It made his restless heart manage to feel a sense of stability.

At least she wasn’t deceiving him.

Ye Yuxuan rolled up his sleeves and personally tested out the water temperature.

He dipped his fingers into the warm water and swiped lightly. His movements were elegant and neat, as though he’d already checked the most optimal water temperature she needed.

Suddenly, he froze. The sound of clothes falling to the ground came from behind him.

The thick waves of steam filled the bathroom.

Ye Yuxuan turned his head and saw Bai Weiwei nonchalantly taking off her pajamas. The clothes slipped down to her dainty, white ankles.

Her body was graceful and slender, her skin as delicate and beautiful as jade.

Bai Weiwei reached up and gathered her long and thick hair behind her, her movements natural and relaxed.

It was as though Ye Yuxuan was a piece of furniture, and his heated gaze didn’t affect her in the slightest.

Ye Yuxuan’s hand was still placed in the water. His movement when turning his head was like that of a stone–not the slightest hint of movement.

He suddenly felt the dryness of his throat, and some sort of intense desire welled up in his throat.

But what Bai Weiwei said next was a splash of cold water.

“Ye Yuxuan, I might die.”

Ye Yuxuan fell silent for a moment before twisting his stiff neck.

His expression tensed, growing colder than ever before.

“It won’t happen.”

Bai Weiwei stepped into the bathtub and sat in the water as though nothing had happened. She tilted her head, her eyes hazy, as though filled with mist.

“You also know about my health. I’m always sleeping, and my heart isn’t good. I could relapse and die at any moment.”
