When she walked in, she was greeted with a refreshing smell.

There were many flowers planted to the left and right, looking very vibrant and colourful.

“Where’s Mu Li Chuan?” Luo Qing Chen went right to the point.

“Li Chuan isn’t home. It’s cold outside, come in and have a cup of tea.” Lan Zhi calmly looked at her without the slightest ripple in her eyes.

There wasn’t even a trace of guilt……

That’s right, what would she be guilty about? Perhaps she liked Mu Li Chuan longer than her.

All of this was the love that she had won.

This really seemed like a castle in a fairy tale and she……was like the princess.

“You really seem like a mistress.” Luo Qing Chen gave a cold snort and said nothing else.

Lan Zhi probably thought that she was laughing at her, but in reality……she was laughing at herself more.

“Come upstairs.”

Luo Qing Chen didn’t reject and followed her up to the tea room on the second floor.

The warm light from the window fell onto her face and with a breeze, she closed her eyes as she suddenly remembered the scene of when she first met Mu Li Chuan.

It seemed like several years ago and it seemed…..so reminiscent.

“This is the newly picked tea, have a taste of it.” Lan Zhi put the teacup in front of her, “What are you planning to do?”

“Does miss Lan care about what I’m planning on doing?” Luo Qing Chen’s eyes had been on the white clouds outside the window the entire time, she didn’t look at her once.

Lan Zhi didn’t seem to care and gave a shrug with a carefree smile, “I’m already with Li Chuan.”

“Un.”

“If you didn’t come……” Lan Zhi bit her lip and said, “We wouldn’t have come back. I like traveling the world taking photos and he likes it too……”

“Un.”

“He went to take care of something, he won’t be back until the evening.”

“Un.”

Luo Qing Chen’s ‘uns’ sounded so indifferent that even though Lan Zhi wanted to say something, it was stuck in her throat.

She didn’t know why this villa felt very cold to her, but only the flowers by the side of the door gave her a comforting feeling.

Lan Zhi’s expression changed, but she quickly fixed it before slowly saying, “I like flowers, so Li Chuan planted them.”

“He really does care about you.” Luo Qing Chen put down the teacup and wanted to walk over to the window.

But Lan Zhi was ahead of her and closed the window, “The wind is picking up and I’ve been feeling ill lately, so I can’t let the breeze blow on me. When he’s here, if I open the window and get worse, he will be worried.”

These were her final words to Lan Zhi. She didn’t wait for Mu Li Chuan to come back because she knew the result…..It would never change.
