At the instant that the door was opened, Rong Yan entered, not bothered by the filth at all. He walked towards Luo Anning and stared at her from above. Her heartbeat slowed down and she stared at him, waiting for him to lose his temper.

However, the storm that she had expected did not happen.

Rong Yan pulled her up from the ground and held onto her clammy hand. Caressing her haggard face with his other hand, he asked, “Does your hand hurt?”
