Under Ma Xiangming’s urging, Lei Zheng headed over to the front desk and asked about He Duo’s situation. The nurse didn’t hide anything from him and replied, “He Duo had just been reprimanded by the head nurse earlier. She’s thinking of resigning.”

“Isn’t it just a small misunderstanding? Why is she resigning?” Lei Zheng frowned.

“Aren’t you guys forcing her to leave by harassing her?” The nurse smiled.

“We’re not harassing her. That’s because Ma Xiangming took a liking on her.” Lei Zheng shook his finger.

“You don’t like her?” The nurse smiled.

“I don’t. Everyone’s aesthetics is different. Compared to her, I prefer someone like you.” Lei Zheng wrote down his social media account on a paper and smiled, “Add me. I’ll send you a red packet.”

The nurse was slightly startled. Her heart was throbbing watching Lei Zheng returning to the ward. Although she knew that Lei Zheng and Ma xiangming were scumbags, she still couldn’t resist the temptation of being married into a rich family.

Lei Zheng smiled bitterly. Wasn’t Ma Xiangming making things difficult for him? He scared her off a while ago and wanted him to clean up the mess?

After a brief pondering, Lei Zheng replied, “That won’t be difficult. I’ll give a call to the head nurse later and give her a promotion.”

“I’m afraid that she won’t accept it with her temper.” Ma Xiangming had studied women psychology. He knew that someone like He Duo couldn’t be treated with normal standards.

Lei Zheng smiled, “It’s fine. Her personal file is with us. Unless she no longer wants to be a nurse anymore. Otherwise, she won’t be able to leave.”

With ¥200,000, their urgent need for medical expenses would be resolved. In the end, the elderly man whispered, “Let’s just promise him. Our son’s medical treatment is more important.”

Seeing that they finally agreed to his terms, Lei Zheng smiled, “But you guys will have to sign an agreement with us. After taking the money, the life and death of your son will have nothing to do with us.”

“Are you still a human?!” He Duo, who was standing beside him, roared. “Do you think that everything can be resolved with money?!”
