“Wouldn’t care about what?” A cold voice could be heard.

The siblings turned back to see Fu Shangqing walking towards them, and Fu Mingxi’s face turned extremely pale.

Thankfully Fu Mingtang reacted fast. He pulled his elder sister back and stood in front of her. “Father, you’re here. Sister was just driven by emotions; she didn’t mean what she said.”

“Good, keep up to good work. You will soar one day.” He praised his son and gave him a few mystic crystals as a gift before asking him to get back to practice.

Seeing that Fu Shangqing was in a good mood, Fu Mingxi lowered her guard and went over, showing a sweet smile. “Daddy, why are you….”

“Piak!” A heavy slap landed on Fu Mingxi’s face.

She felt her cheeks burning as she looked up to her father, whom she had always admired. He stared at her coldly, different from how he looked at Mingtang.
