“Yao Er, what are you doing?”

“Mother, we are going to Yan City to buy some things . ” Mu Yunyao had already thought of how she was going to earn her silver .

Su Qing could not break out of her grip and thus accompanied Mu Yunyao .

“Auntie Yang, would you like to go to Yan city?” Mu Yunyao asked Yang Shi .

“It’s such a cold day, what are you two going to Yan city for?”

“Mother and I have thought of a way to earn some money and we are on our way to do just that . Auntie, come with us . ” Yang Shi and Mother’s relationship had always been good, so Mu Yunyao wanted to give her a little present .

Yang Shi thought for a little while before nodding . She smiled, “Alright, I will accompany the two of you . But we shouldn’t walk there, wait for me while I get your Uncle Yang to borrow a donkey from the Village Chief . We will sit on the donkey cart . ”

Looking at Yang Shi’s expression, Mu Yunyao knew that she did not trust their idea to earn money . Yang Shi was worried about the two of them and thus wanted to come along with them . Mu Yunyao’s heart warmed and she said, “Thank you, Auntie . ”

Yang Shi’s husband was a silent man . Throughout the whole trip, he did not say a single word and simply drove the cart . Su Qing and Yang Shi, however, talked up a storm .

When they reached Yan city, Mu Yunyao did not go to look around . Instead, she went straight to Spring Embroidery .

When they reached Spring Embroidery, Yang Shi saw that the people walking in and out of it were all dressed in shiny, bright clothing . If they entered the shop and dirtied the clothes, they would definitely be unable to pay for it . “Little Yunyao, the stuff here are incredibly expensive . We don’t have the money for this . ”

“Auntie, don’t worry . Sometimes, we can buy things without spending anything . ” Although Mu Yunyao did have a few tens of silver, it was still not even enough to buy thread from Spring Embroidery . So, she decided not to use any silver .

Mu Yunyao very naturally went and brought Li Shi and Su Qing into the shop . She went straight to the counter and asked, “Shopkeeper, I heard that Spring Embroidery has all the colours of Spring, I wonder if it is true for your silk threads?”

Spring Embroidery’s shopkeeper was looking through his accountancy book . He looked up, curious . Spring Embroidery had been around for more than a century . Within the entire country, it was definitely one of the top embroidery brands . It has been a long time since someone dared to provoke them .

When he saw Mu Yunyao, he froze . Had it not been for the fact that she was dressed in rags, he would have thought that she was a daughter of some official . “This little lady, are you here to buy silk threads?”

“That’s right . I want the biggest sewing shelf and the best threads in all colours . ”

Hearing this, the shopkeeper became even more curious . “Our biggest sewing shelf is really big, what do you need it for?”

“Obviously to do my sewing . ”

“Haha, lady, this sewing shelf and the silk threads that you have requested are really not cheap,” The shopkeeper said as he looked at the tense expressions of Yang Shi and Su Qing . These two do not seem very well-to-do!

“If shopkeeper does not want to sell to me, I could just go to the Colour Moon Shop opposite here,” Mu Yunyao said . She had noticed that Su Qing was uncomfortable under the shopkeeper’s calculating gaze and immediately became very displeased .

“Wait, lady,” The shopkeeper immediately stopped her .
