Mu Siyin’s heart raced as her cheek blushed. Shortly after that, she found herself struggling to breathe, and her body went limp in his arms.

He wanted more than just a kiss.

“What time did you get off work yesterday?”

Shi Beiyu burst into laughter. “I fell asleep right after I called you.”

“Do you have anything else you want to tell me?”

Shi Beiyu gave it a thought before looking at her. He replied, “I can’t sleep well without you.”

It seemed like he had no plans on telling her what happened yesterday.

Whatever. He must be afraid that she would be angry if he told her.

Mu Siyin, however, sighed softly. “No one in the company believes that I designed it.”

Shi Beiyu’s eyes slightly darkened as he snorted. “It’s not that they don’t believe it. They just don’t want to admit that you are better than them.”

Mu Siyin immediately burst into laughter when she heard that. “Yes, that’s their mentality.”

Shi Beiyu raised his hand to caress her long hair lovingly and looked deep into her eyes. “My Yinyin is the best.”

Mu Siyin’s heart fluttered. However, she had a lot of questions in her mind as she looked at him.

She could feel his love for her but did not understand why he would rather take a cold shower than touch her.

He claimed that her body was too weak, but she did not believe him.

She had to test his reaction again tonight and find out why.
