Mu Siyin was stunned.

Ji Yang then looked at Xiang Qiuci and said sincerely, “That was exactly why I said he is a scumbag. Qiuci, don’t fall into his trap.”

Xiang Qiuci blinked in response and nodded. “Alright. I don’t see him that way either.”

Ji Yang patted her shoulders. “I can be rest assured then!”

Mu Siyin said nothing in response.

If her cousin heard this, he would probably go crazy out of fury.

Even though Ji Yang hung up on Lu Jingchen and told him to eat on his own, how could he give up so easily?

Xiang Qiuci was finally back after a long time, and she might be leaving soon. Who knew when he would be able to see her again? He had to seize the opportunity to confess his feelings.

After a while, he called Mu Siyin again.

When Mu Siyin saw the caller ID, she said to Ji Yang and Qiuci, “My cousin wants to buy us lunch. What do you guys say?”

Before Xiang Qiuci could reply, Ji Yang replied, “I thought I told him that we would be eating at home this afternoon.”

Based on Ji Yang’s attitude, Mu Siyin knew that she would not bulge. Hence, Mu Siyin paused for a moment before picking up the phone. “Cuz?”

Lu Jingchen was relieved to hear Mu Siyin was the one who picked up the phone.

“Yinyin, how does lunch at Royale Hotel sound?”

Everyone knew that the Royale Hotel served the most exquisite and delicious dishes.

This put Mu Siyin in a difficult position. “Cuz, Yangyang said we will be eating at home this afternoon.”

Lu Jingchen was so mad that the tips of his hair were standing.

“Yinyin! What can you guys eat at home? She is doing this on purpose! Just bring Qiuci out with you and let her be!”

Mu Siyin blinked at his words and let out a sigh. “Do you think that’s possible? Why not… you come over in the afternoon? Since we are cooking anyway, we can just make an extra portion.”

Ji Yang’s eyes widened. “Yinyin… I will not allow him into my house!”

Lu Jingchen initially wanted to turn down the offer. However, he got riled up when he heard Ji Yang’s response through the phone.

“Alright! Since she won’t let you guys out, I will head to you. Send me her address, and I will drop by later.”

Mu Siyin nodded with a smile. “Alright.”

After they hung up, Ji Yang was completely at a loss for words.

“Yinyin, did you invite him over to destroy my house?”

Mu Siyin comforted her. “Don’t worry. He won’t do anything with Qiuci around.”

Ji Yang kept her mouth shut.

The three of them then walked to the supermarket for some groceries. Just as they picked up a whole lot of ingredients, Lu Jingchen called.

“Yinyin, are you guys home? I’m almost there.”

Mu Siyin replied, “We are still at the supermarket. We will be heading home soon.”

“Which supermarket is it? I can pick you guys up.”

After paying for the groceries, they headed out and immediately saw Lu Jingchen leaning by his car. He was staring at the exit of the supermarket. All the female passers-by, no matter young ladies or older women, threw glances at him from time to time.

When he saw the three of them, he smiled and waved. “Yinyin! Qiuci!”

Ji Yang rolled her eyes at him. “Can you act like a gentleman? Can’t you see that we are carrying a lot of things?”

The smile on Lu Jingchen’s face disappeared for a while before he jogged over.

First, he took over the things from Xiang Qiuci’s hands.

Then, he also reached for the things in Mu Siyin’s hands.

After that… he turned around and walked away.
