When she opened her eyes, she saw a familiar, handsome face looking at her with a soft smile.

She creased her forehead and looked at Shi Beiyu in anguish. “What are you doing?”

Mu Siyin was sleeping soundly!

Shi Beiyu smiled. “Do you know what time it is?”

Mu Siyin asked instinctively, “What time is it?”

“It’s almost 8:00 p.m. Are you not planning to sleep tonight?”

Upon hearing that, Mu Siyin opened her eyes in astonishment. “8:00 p.m.?!”

Shi Beiyu nodded. “Yeah.”

Mu Siyin went to check the time in disbelief and realized that it was really almost 8:00 p.m.

“How was I asleep for that long?”

She had been sleeping since 3:00 p.m. How did she sleep for such a long time?

Shi Beiyu pulled her up from the bed and said softly, “You must be too tired for the past two days. Come, look at what I got you today.”

Just as he said that, he presented her with a golden brocade box.

Mu Siyin was stunned that he had gotten her another gift.

When Shi Beiyu saw her reaction, he burst into laughter. “What’s wrong?”

Mu Siyin looked up at him. “Why are you giving me another gift?”

When Shi Beiyu heard that, he could not help but lift his hand and caress her long hair. Then, he opened the brocade box and took out a string of beads.

Mu Siyin was startled to see the string of blood-red beads at Shi Beiyu’s fingertips. “Are these… blood jades?”

Shi Beiyu smiled and put them on Mu Siyin’s left wrist. He chuckled. “You didn’t major in jewelry design for nothing.”

Mu Siyin was very curious as blood jades were a rarity. Moreover, these were pure bright red in color, so they must be very valuable.

“Where did you get them from?”

Shi Beiyu hesitated. “I bought them from an auction.”

Mu Siyin frowned. “Why did you buy them?”

Shi Beiyu looked at her and said in a serious tone, “Jade strengthens your body. Since yours is weak, you must wear them and never take them off.”

Mu Siyin stared at him without saying a word.

However, Shi Beiyu looked at her and said seriously, “Did you hear me? Even if you want to take them off, I must be the one who does it for you.”

Mu Siyin felt helpless over Shi Beiyu’s unreasonable and overbearing behavior, but he had always been like that. There was nothing she could do other than nod obediently. “Okay, I understand. Thank you, Uncle Shi.”

Shi Beiyu’s eyes twitched as she looked at her reluctantly. “I heard from Uncle Zhong that you showed him something precious today and even said it was something I gave you.”

Mu Siyin nodded. “Yeah, he wanted to see the gift you gave me. I had no choice but to grab one from Mu family villa and show it to him.”

Shi Beiyu grinned. “Take it out now and show me too.”

Mu Siyin raised her eyebrows. “Haven’t you seen enough treasures?”
