Ji Yang wondered. “How is this possible? How could he register the certificate alone?”

Mu Siyin blinked before she looked at Ji Yang. “He asked his friend for help.”

Ji Yang was stunned to hear this. After that, she let out a sigh and said, “It’s so good to be rich and powerful. He could even get a marriage certificate done without having to go to the Bureau.”

Mu Siyin dropped her gaze and whispered, “You have to keep this a secret, Yangyang.”

However, Ji Yang took out the red book and flipped through the pages. As she looked through the contents, she glanced at Mu Siyin and said, “This isn’t fake… right, Yinyin?”

Mu Siyin was speechless. “No way. He would never lie to me.”

It was Ji Yang’s turn to be speechless now. “Aren’t you placing too much trust in him? Men always lie.”

Mu Siyin frowned. “But the certificate is obviously stamped. It has all the other necessary legalities too. The only thing missing is our picture. He said we could go to the Civil Affairs Bureau to take a picture whenever I want to.”

“Really?” Ji Yang still found it hard to believe.

Mu Siyin blinked. “I don’t think it’s fake.”

“Don’t say that. Let me check for a while.”

Mu Siyin knitted her brows together. “Okay.”

After five minutes, Ji Yang lifted her head violently. Shocked, Mu Siyin froze before letting out a soft chuckle. “Did you find it?”

Ji Yang placed her phone in front of Mu Siyin with a loud slam. Then, she looked at her friend solemnly. “Take a look for yourself.”

Seeing Ji Yang’s expression made Mu Siyin start to worry. As the crease on her forehead deepened, Mu Siyin was suddenly overwhelmed by hesitation and denial. “Yangyang… You didn’t find it?”

“Look for yourself.”

Mu Siyin blinked as she lowered her head nervously.

The moment she saw the words ‘legally married’, she let out a shriek of joy. “I told you! It can’t be fake!”

Ji Yang finally relaxed. She looked at Mu Siyin helplessly and said, “I now know that *you’re not here to treat me to a meal. You just want me to give you a red packet[1].”

Mu Siyin smiled brightly as she lifted her gaze to look at Ji Yang. “You’re right. I won’t accept your red packet if it’s small.”

Ji Yang looked at her friend gloomily and said, “Hey, I’m the one helping him out here. If I report this, I might get a pay raise or a promotion.”

Ji Yang was a very upright person who liked to do things by the book.

That was why she found it hard to let this slide since it was obviously an abuse of process. However, she knew this was a good thing. In fact, it was great news!

Mu Siyin grinned as she said, “Are you really going to report us?”

Ji Yang lifted her hands and slammed them on the table. “Yes!”

Mu Siyin murmured, “Leng Jiuchen.”

Ji Yang froze instantly.

Mu Siyin beamed. “Are you still going to report us?”

The corner of Ji Yang’s lips twitched anxiously. She then looked at her friend and chuckled. “Pretend I said nothing.”

If she had indeed reported that person, she would be better off changing careers. Otherwise, she might be killed in her sleep.

Mu Siyin smiled as she kept the marriage certificate. After that, she placed Ji Yang’s phone in front of her and said, “Prepare a red packet for me after you get back, okay?”

Ji Yang grunted. “Just wait! I’ll give you a huge one!”
