Mu Siyin glanced at the time. It was 9:00 p.m.

She did not feel like going to the villa tonight, so maybe she should go back to the Mu family instead.

Mu Siyin and Ji Yang wanted to call a cab from the side of the road, but a car stopped in front of them the moment they stood still.

Mu Siyin then pulled Ji Yang into the car. Once they had sent Ji Yang back, the bodyguard was just planning to send Mu Siyin to the villa when Mu Siyin suddenly said, “I already told your Young Master about going to Mu family.”

Mu Siyin thought that the bodyguard would ask her to double-confirm with Shi Beiyu, but he unexpectedly nodded his head readily. “Sure, Miss Mu.”

When they arrived at the Mu family, Mu Siyin thanked the man and headed towards the building.

The bodyguard remained in the same spot until he saw Mu Siyin enter the building. Then, he took out his phone to give Shi Beiyu a report. “Young Master, Miss Mu has arrived at the Mu family safely.”

Shi Beiyu, who was already back at the villa, paused for a moment. He gave a faint acknowledgment before he hung up the phone.

Shi Beiyu stood next to the window with a cold and restrained presence.

He knitted his brows as he lit up a cigarette between his fingers. Lifting his head, he looked into the dark sky as Mu Siyin’s smile filled up his mind. It had always been her.

On the other hand, Mu Siyin had just walked through the door when she heard Mu Xingyu’s voice.

“We have been friends with the Gu family for a long time now, Dad, Grandma. We should help them out of this sudden financial crisis.”
