She stood there overwhelmed by the unexpected turmoil.

By the glimmer in his eye, she could tell that he wasn’t joking about it.

Her heart seemed to be provoked by his challenge.

She upheaved her head in arrogantly before casting a competitive look at him: “if you dare to take me as your wife, I would dare to marry you!”
