Zi Ling limped over in a panic, trying to support Ye Qing Luo up.

In her fluster, she tripped over the step at the entrance and stumbled forward instead.

She reached out in desperation, wanting to support Ye Qing Luo. Zi Ling’s pair of clear and bright eyes were now wrought with worry.

Ye Qing Luo waved her hands dismissively at her. Zi Ling was shaking her arms and her injured arm hurt even more.

She drew in deep breaths and while she was gasping, she managed to squeeze out: “Don’t mind me, I’ll be fine once I sit down.”

Zi Ling has touched the fresh blood that has drenched her shoulders and she frantically knelt down and asked, “Miss, was it Fourth Miss and gang that bullied you again?”

Her hands were full of blood and this had alarmed her greatly.

No wonder her Young Miss’ face was so pale and she looked very weak and frail at this moment.

“Miss, they have gone too far! Let’s go look for the Patriarch to get even with them! We have to tell him all the things they did to you! This is too much!”

After which she picked up the basin that had fallen and started limping towards the kitchen.

Ye Qing Luo rested for a bit before she mustered her energy and climbed onto the bed.

Zi Ling returned with a pot of boiled water, a pair of scissors and some clean cloth.

With the help of Zi Ling, Ye Qing Luo managed to remove her outer robe and her injured shoulder was exposed.

From the shoulder to her arm, there was a long bloody wound.

When she saw that, Zi Ling couldn’t help but scream out loud and her hands started trembling.

Zi Ling bit her lips and her head drooped. She replied in a voice filled with guilt and remorse: “Sorry Miss, Ling Er is so useless… Ling Er failed to get fresh rice….”
