Di Qiuhe walked back to the sofa after he opened the door, he poured He Bai a glass of water and asked, “You said the drink was poisoned, how do you know? Have you had some?”

“Throwing him out or not, it’s my decision to make.” said Di Qiuhe with indifference, he didn’t appreciate the tone that An Xixi just talked to him.

“As you just said, it’s getting late, you may leave now.”

An Xixi was choked, she left the suite with regret.

He Bai opened the lid on the bottle and spilled some to the toilet, he needed to convince Di Qiuhe that this drink was poisonous, so he needed to make it look at least plausible, Di Qiuhe would not buy a word if he saw the bottle was still sealed.

After that being done, He Bai walked out of the bathroom, he let a sigh of relief seeing Di Qiuhe sitting on the couch safe and sound. He walked to the balcony and locked the window, he double checked a few times on the lock, not giving An Xixi any chance to murder Di Qiuhe.

“What are you doing?” asked Di Qiuhe with interest.

“I’m protecting… …”

There came another knock on the door, it was An Xixi carrying a tray again, she brought two bodyguards with her this time.

He Bai took a glimpse at the tray, he was more certain the porridge was questionable. This An Xixi in this life, so stubborn.

“Mr. Di, I ordered a new porridge for you. As for the guest, I can arrange him a room tonight, it’s getting too late now, probably not the best timing to have a talk.” An Xixi put the tray on the table and suggested in a gentle voice.
