Cooper Smith must have had observed Di Qiuhe for a long time, now that he visited them with this invitation on behalf of the company, he must have discussed with his team about Di Qiuhe’s potential.

But his invitation could be interpreted in two ways, “a few snaps” as in a proper commercial or as in some casual advertisement posters, which carried different weight for a world famous brand like V&G. Cooper did not speak clearly about that, they were not sure he did that on purpose or not so they did not ask him.

“I’m so flattered, Mr. Smith, the thing is, I gotta check on with my manager on work schedule.” replied Di Qiuhe politely.

Cooper did have observed him for a while now, he knew Di Qiuhe was not an easy character, he was not surprised to get this reply, he handed over his name card to Di Qiuhe.

To put everything in a nutshell, Cooper had a friend who was pursuing his childhood dream by shooting an adventure-themed movie.

Everything sounded promising though, his friend now had secured an ample investment and built his own crew, but the actor from R country who they had approached and reached cooperation agreement suddenly bailed out.

Cooper was being such a good friend and had been scouting after that, he laid his eyes on Di Qiuhe on that runway day, he had done some research on Di Qiuhe. The more he observed Di Qiuhe, the more he found Di Qiuhe had the potential for the movie, he also thought Di Qiuhe could make the perfect model for V&G, hence he paid this visit.

Now He Bai knew why this Cooper Smith paid this visit in person and kept a low profile in front of them.

This man was working for V&G, even Hollywood stars would be more than happy to work with them, let alone a new actor from China who was looking for more possibilities. While Mr. Smith, as a District Manager, visited them in person and he even bought He Bai’s work at the auction to show how sincere he was.

He Bai was intrigued, he asked “Can I ask the title of the movie?” He Bai watched a lot of movies in his previous life, he might even have watched this movie.

Seeing how interested He Bai was, Cooper handed him a script, “It’s called ‘Wolf Venom’, it’s about group adventure, the screenplay was written by Mark Hobbs.

“Excuse… me?” He Bai was so shocked that he even belched some tea, he patted Di Qiuhe’s shoulder hard to signal him to get the script, today must be Di Qiuhe’s lucky day!

“Wolf Venom”?! It was loved by numerous of fans worldwide in his previous life, it was one of the must-sees of all time! What on earth was happening, his Childish Di died so young in his previous life, yet he had totally rewritten his fate in this life! He was winning!

He Bai managed to collect himself by now, he said apologetically to Cooper, “Excuse me for my manners, Mr. Smith, it takes guts to make such a bold move, jumping out of the comfort zone, I respect your friend for that. “The pleasure is all mine, Mr. He.” Cooper said his friend would like to invite He Bai to shoot the posters of his movie if Di Qiuhe was interested in the role.

He Bai nodded happily, his smile was getting bigger and bigger.

The two soon got close as they shared opinions on the development of this industry, Cooper even called He Bai Little He when he left, they talked about a potential catch up soon.

Di Qiuhe grabbed He Bai in his arms as soon as Cooper left the room, he asked in confusion, “Bai, why are you throwing yourself at that Cooper guy?”

“He offered us jobs, of course I gotta act all nice and friendly to him.” replied He Bai in an innocent way, “Childish Di, this is such a great opportunity for you to work with the best crew in the world, let’s work hard on that.”

“That’s all?” Di Qiuhe did not sound convinced.

“Of course, what else could it be? An invitation from V&G plus an invitation from an overseas movie, God, this is definitely a big break for you! Regardless of whether you will work with them or not in the end, the two invitations speak for themselves already! You are about to be an A-list celebrity, my Childish Di!” He Bai was beaming, and he squeezed Di Qiuhe on his cheek, “You are so handsome today, why are you so handsome today?”

Di Qiuhe squinted, “Puppy, what have you taken me for? A fool? Since when do you care about A-list or Z-list? That sounds like an excuse to me.”

Di Qiuhe totally fell for that, he looked at his puppy affectionately, and soon he had a feast.

But there went their travelling plan, they called Xing Shaofeng to come back for updates.

Di Qiuhe talked about Di Chunhua with Xing Shaofeng in the living room, while He Bai snuggled in bed reading the scripts, he opened the script carefully as if he were making a pilgrimage to the most iconic movie.

He was too carried away on hearing the title “Wolf Venom” when Cooper was here, now that he calmed down, he did not recall any Asian character in that movie, not even one!

What did that mean? Will they cut this role completely in the end? He did not want Di Qiuhe to happy for nothing in the end!
