The fans were so desperate to shower Di Qiuhe with their love and support, yet Di Qiuhe had already canceled his Weibo account, the fans had no other option but to swarm into He Bai’s Weibo account.

Di Qiuhe kept refreshing the comments, and he looked at He Bai was sound asleep right by his side, his lips raised he couldn’t resist the temptation and he leaned forward to kiss him on the forehead and fiddling with his hair. Then he left the bedroom quietly, walked to the study to turn on the laptop, selected an amusing snap of Wild Bull shooting the other day of him and He Bai.

Suddenly he felt someone was pressing him on the shoulders, and there came He Bai’s voice, “Childish Di, what have you posted on my Weibo account?”

Di Qiuhe’s body got tense, he logged out Weibo and turned around to show a smile, then he patted He Bai on his head, reached out to cuddle him on the waist, gently asked, “Hey, you, you waken up? What do you feel like for breakfast?”

“Thank you for your kindness, but what am I, a guinea pig?” with a yawn, He Bai let Di Qiuhe go, he rubbed Di Qiuhe’s earlobes and sat on his lap, he even wrapped Di Qiuhe around on his neck, resting his head on Di Qiuhe’s shoulder.

Di Qiuhe’s heart was racing, he clutched his arms tighter so they could get closer, his heart was now a ball of fluff due to He Bai’s affectionate behavior. He patted He Bai on the back, and gave him a kiss on the ear, asked gently, “What? Are you still sleepy? Have I woken you up?”

“Yes, you did.” He Bai nodded while his eyes were tightly closed, his voice was a bit indiscernible, yet he still acted a bit fiesty, “Yup, it is all you. I planned on keeping early hours, being all healthy, I have been sleeping in every morning ever since you came back.”

Hearing this lovable complaint, Di Qiuhe chuckled, he patted He Bai who was sitting on his lap, and he coaxed, “There there, sleeping in is good for you, isn’t it? You used to sleep so little, no wonder you are so skinny.”

“It has nothing to do with lacking of sleep, I’m just born skinny…” Di Qiuhe’s patting was so comfortable, He Bai now had gone half awake by the patting, “I used to work for more experience and networking with people in this business back in the days, but now I’m working to make more money, I don’t find my life different than my old days, it’s just I need to take care of you now, you Childish Di……”

Di Qiuhe laughed, his body shook along with his laughter, he whispered at He Bai’s ear, “Back in the days? You mean back to when you were in primary school? Don’t worry about me, I’m easy to take care of, plus I don’t eat much. Therefore, you don’t need to work that hard to provide, and how about we taking care of each other?”

There was no reply, Di Qiuhe took a closer look, only to find He Bai had fallen asleep on his shoulder.

“Unprotected sleep may give you a headache……”, with it Di Qiuhe kissed him on the cheek, he adjusted He Bai’s posture to make him more comfortable.

Everything was so serene until there came a phone ring. He Bai who was sound asleep now woke up, he stared at Di Qiuhe like a frightened puppy, making his innocent eyes more innocent looking, along with his messy hair, puppy looked several years younger than his real age.

Di Qiuhe frowned at this unpleasant ring tone. He hung up the phone and patted He Bai on the head as comfort, he carried He Bai in his arms and said, “Let me take you to bed, where you can sleep better.”

He Bai patted Di Qiuhe on the shoulder while rubbing his forehead and told Di Qiuhe to put him down, he was not going to sleep, otherwise he was gonna have trouble falling asleep at night.

Scarcely had he finished his sentence there came another round of phone rings.

Di Qiuhe was more displeased with this call, he kissed He Bai on the forehead and walked to the table, seeing it was an unknown caller, his eyebrows knitted through, he finally got through this call.

“Hi, Qiuhe, this is Aunt. Yan, I have something to discuss with you.”

That was a familiar yet strange voice, Di Qiuhe was confused for a solid second, then he realized this Aunt. Yan on the phone was Yan Hui, Qin Rong’s ex-wife. His eyebrows unknitted a little recalling her nice attitude towards him when he was a little boy. Then he asked, “What do you want to discuss with me?”

“Alliance.” Yan Hui said that with a touch of determination and hatred, and she continued, “May I meet your grandfather, if that’s possible, I have something important to tell him, it concerns your mother’s death.”

Di Qiuhe sprang up from the chair and asked in a serious tone, “What do you know about my mother’s death, please tell me now.”

Hearing what Di Qiuhe had said, He Bai rushed to hold his hand and looked at him with worry written all over his face.

Di Qiuhe felt the warmth on his hand, and he held He Bai’s hand back, feeling the warmth on his hand, his face became less sullen, he pulled He Bai back to his arms, and he felt less panicked.

Yan Hui refused to disclose any information over the phone, she insisted on talking in person. Di Qiuhe decided to meet her at Fan House after some pondering, as for the time he thought he’d better ask his grandfather first.

He Bai soon got changed after this phone call, and together, they went to Fan House.

After some discussion, they set the time at a week later, which baffled He Bai, he thought Mr. Fan would be desperate to find out the truth about his daughter’s death.

“Yan Hui is on such an emotional roller coaster now, what she said on the phone might be truth, and might not be, we’d better give her some time to collect her thoughts and meanwhile we can have some investigation over Yan family ourselves” explained Di Qiuhe to He Bai, and he scratched He Bai’s hair, “Please don’t worry about me, I’ll let you know as soon as I find out the truth, just prepare for you final exams which I know you are gonna do great at. I’ll see you at my shooting scene soon.”

He Bai just nodded in agreement, thinking about the shooting crew which had come back to B city.
