Looking For Trouble

Even though the Chairman’s orders were important, Mary did not forget who recruited her.

The two of them returned to the office very quickly. What Yin Xun did not expect was that Yin Mo was actually there too. When she saw Yin Xun, she walked up anxiously. “Sister, why didn’t you pick up the phone? I was so worried!”

It was only then that Yin Xun remembered that after she moved, Yin Mo had called her non-stop to ask about her, so she had blocked Yin Mo’s phone. It was probably Si Fan who asked Yin Mo to call and ask. She even asked which block she lived in and whether Yin Xun needed her help to hire a nanny.

“Why did you call me?” Yin Xun asked.

“Did Si Fan ask you to call me?” Yin Xun understood.

“No!” Yin Mo did not understand why Yin Xun would guess so accurately. She did not even say anything, but she tried her best to hide it. “It’s Liu Ying’s father and brother. They’re here to question father. Sister, why don’t you apologize to Uncle Liu and the others? ”

“Apologize? Yin Mo, is this the first day you met me?” Yin Xun laughed sarcastically. “If you want to apologize, you can do it yourself. You can even kneel. Don’t drag me into it.”

Yin Mo’s face turned pale, and she said with a trembling voice, “Sister, I’m doing this for your own good. We’re still working with Uncle Liu. If our relationship breaks down, the project will also have problems…”

“Yo, you know quite a lot.” Yin Xun said.

It should be said that Si Fan had explained things clearly. He was afraid that Yin Xun did not know that begging for mercy from Liu Yi and the others was her only choice.

It seemed that this man’s self-esteem was really strong, and he wanted to see her make a fool of herself so badly.

Yin Mo still wanted to continue persuading her, but Yin Xun directly pushed the door open and entered the Chairman’s office. The moment she entered the office, the few people inside turned around to look at her. Yin Cheng instantly slammed a hand on the table. “What are you doing here? Don’t you know how to knock on the door? Get out!”

Yin Xun knew that Yin Cheng was pretending to be fierce because he wanted her to leave quickly. After all, Liu Yi and Liu Cheng were here for her.

“Hold on, uncle Yin. Your daughter has done a horrible thing. Naturally, she has to bear the consequences. She actually sent my sister to the police station. I will seek justice for my sister today!” Liu Cheng stared at Yin Xun fiercely.

“It’s justice. After all, she was arrested by the police. If you want to go to jail in her place, why don’t you go to the police station yourself?” Yin Xun laughed coldly.

“Old Yin, what’s with your daughter’s attitude!” Liu Yi slammed his palm on the table. “We’ve known each other for so many years, yet you let your daughter bully my child? Believe it or not, I’ll break off our partnership!”

The Liu family was in the steel business and had always been working with the Yin family. They were one of the Yin family’s most important suppliers. If there were any problems with the steel supply, it would severely delay the progress of the project and might even cause the project to halt. By then, they would probably lose hundreds of thousands of dollars every day!

Even if they looked for a new steel supplier, it would take time. If the other supplier saw that the project was waiting to use steel, they might even maliciously raise the price.

Thus, Liu Yi’s threat was indeed very lethal. Yin Cheng fell silent on the spot, and after a long while, he said, “Old Liu, don’t go too far.”

“Am I going overboard? Your daughter is too much!” Liu Yi shouted arrogantly.

Yin Cheng furrowed his brows and was about to negotiate with Liu Yi again when Yin Xun walked to the desk and slowly placed her phone on the table. He then gently pushed it towards Liu Yi.

“What, are you afraid?” Liu Yi sneered and glanced at Yin Xun. “It’s too late for you to be afraid. You don’t know the immensity of heaven and earth, you stupid girl!”

After Liu Yi finished, he glanced at Yin Xun’s phone and said impatiently, “Isn’t this steel from our family? You…” Liu Yi’s eyes widened as he grabbed Yin Xun’s phone and zoomed in on the photo.

Yin Xun was not in a hurry. She pulled a chair over and sat down, waiting for Liu Yi to finish reading.

Liu Cheng did not see Liu Yi’s expression and continued to threaten her, “If you don’t give me an explanation and publicly apologize to my sister on the internet, I won’t let this go! Yin Xun, what’s with that expression? Don’t you know that it’s your family that’s begging us to continue working with you…”

“Liu Cheng! Get over here!” Liu Yi’s angry roar interrupted Liu Cheng.

Liu Cheng was stunned. He hesitated for a few seconds before he walked toward Liu Yi.

When he came to Liu Yi, Liu Yi grabbed his ear and tugged Liu Cheng’s head so that Liu Cheng had to look at the photo on the phone. “What is this? Where did you get this steel?”

The steel in the photo had the label “Made by Baogang” on it.
