Chapter 163: Am I Really The One You Want To See?

The small threat that she issued was akin to that between a junior and an elder. She did not seem detestable at all.

The nurse was in a dilemma and had no choice but to glance at Bo Hancheng.

Bo Hancheng glanced at Luo Zheng for a long time before stepping forward.

Luo Zheng raised her chin in joy while humphing in her heart.

She thought, I knew it, Mr. Bodyguard wouldn’t ignore me!

At the next instant, Luo Zheng’s face stiffened and she watched him bend forward. However, he did not carry her and instead grabbed the duvet on the bed.

While Luo Zheng was feeling bewildered, he threw the duvet over her head and covered her body.

By the time Luo Zheng reacted, she popped her head out and looked up at him angrily.

Staring at her calmly and coldly, he questioned, “You want to lie on the ground? Fine, I’ll grant you your wishes. You shall lie on the ground!”

The way he behaved was largely similar to the way they used to interact with each other at the very beginning.

However, at that time, he did not know or trust her, and found her to be suspicious. Hence, she could understand his behavior… but why is he acting like this now? He clearly praised her for not letting him down, so why did their relationship become so distant all of a sudden!?!

Unable to understand the reason, Luo Zheng felt even more wronged. She said, “Brother Cheng, the ground is so cold and I’m severely ill. Can you really bear to see me get sicker?”

She watched as he turned around and said to the doctor, “Give her a checkup and treat her with whatever you deem fit.”

He was about to leave after giving those instructions.

At last, he placed his hand on top of hers and slowly pushed her hands away with force.

“Luo Zheng, am I really the one you want to see?”

He interjected before standing up.

While Luo Zheng was feeling bewildered, he kept his eyes fixed onto her and questioned, “Or do you only treat me like a substitute?”

“???”

Luo Zheng was extremely confused and she noticed that his eyes were icy cold, so much that it made her heart palpitate. “Brother Cheng, what are you talking about? What substitute? You are the one I want to see!”

Bo Hancheng could not tell if her reactions were genuine.

Be it genuine or not, her behavior now was definitely way better than when she was suffering a relapse!

Bo Hancheng smirked derisively when he suddenly thought of something. He was really affected by her and she had disrupted his thoughts.

He thought, why does it matter to me who she has in her heart? Anyway, I only want her body and I’m not interested in finding out who she loves!

At this moment, he seemed to have heard something falling onto the ground all of a sudden.

Bo Hancheng looked down to see that blood was flowing out of the back of her hand because she had forcefully pulled the needle out of her hand, thus staining her fair skin.

The blood flowed down her hand and accumulated at her fingers like a small stream. It then dripped onto the ground like flowers blossoming!

Sensing what he was staring at, Luo Zheng looked in the direction of his gaze.

Did it hurt? Of course it did!

However, it was insignificant compared to Mr. Bodyguard!
