Chapter 145: Brother Cheng Is Sad About Zheng Getting Poisoned!

Seeing that the man was soon going to leave her sight, Luo Zheng immediately got up to follow him.

However, she felt a sudden ache in her abdomen when she stood up. Something flowed out of her lower body and Luo Zheng felt the urge to cuss.

Damn it, my body is so useless. Of all the times, why must Aunt Flo visit me now!?!

Bearing the discomfort, Luo Zheng supported herself against the wall, regained her balance and quickly returned to the hall.

However, just across the corner, she noticed that Bo Hancheng was standing a few steps away from her… Most importantly, that man was speaking to Bo Hancheng.

He looks like Mr. Bodyguard’s subordinate?

However, Luo Zheng suddenly thought of something and immediately reminded him, “Brother Cheng, be careful, there’s something wrong with him!”

Upon hearing her words, Bo Hancheng’s face grew sullen. The man was way too close to him and as soon as he raised his hand, plenty of powder flew out.

The powder was like a psychedelic agent and Bo Hancheng immediately staggered forwards as soon as he inhaled it.

Seeing this, Luo Zheng got so flustered that she immediately ran forwards.

At this moment, the man raised his dagger and tried to stab Bo Hancheng… Despite being drugged, Bo Hancheng was still agile and had the reflexes to react in the nick of time.

He grabbed the man’s wrist and twisted it, causing the latter to drop the dagger in pain.

At the critical juncture, the man stuck his other hand out to reveal a blue syringe which clearly contained “Blue Vixen”, the addictive drug!

No one expected that the purpose of the man sent by Scarface was not to assassinate Bo Hancheng, but rather to inject the Blue Vixen poison into his body to ruin him!

Due to the fact that Bo Hancheng was drugged, all of his attention was on the dagger and hence, he could not see the syringe behind it. He had no time to care about it either.

Luo Zheng’s pupils constricted and before she could even think, she slammed herself against Bo Hancheng to push him further away from that man.

The man stabbed the syringe into Luo Zheng’s neck accurately.

Realizing that he had stabbed the wrong person, the man got a great shock before quickly pushing the syringe down in a bid to inject it into Luo Zheng’s body.

When he was halfway done, Luo Zheng vigorously struggled to push him away. Bo Hancheng chased after him and kicked him onto the ground.

“Luo Zheng… ”

After kicking the man, Bo Hancheng stared at Luo Zheng who was swaying unsteadily and hurriedly grabbed her waist.

“Brother Cheng, I’m fine, it’s just that my neck hurts! Bastard, he actually stabbed me with a syringe, I hate getting injections!”

Luo Zheng tried her best to force a smile, not wanting Bo Hancheng to realize that something was wrong, lest he feel guilty.

However, she was so silly that she did not realize that Bo Hancheng would have definitely identified the blue poison since he had been hunting Old K down!

With a sullen expression on his face, Bo Hancheng ignored Luo Zheng and pushed her hair away to look at her neck.

The tip of the needle was rather thin and it only left a small mark behind, along with a few droplets of blood.

Once the blue poison is injected, there would be no way to remove it!

“Why did you do that? Speak!”

Luo Zheng looked at his angry face and got a shock just as she was about to call his name.

Before Luo Zheng could even answer, he raised her chin forcefully and asked coldly, “Luo Zheng, are you that fearless? Is your life worth nothing? You don’t cherish your life, do you?”

He rarely lost his temper.

Perhaps, even Bo Hancheng did not understand why he was asking her those questions.

He should have been happy to see that she was willing to die with him but when she truly ignored her own safety to save him, he still felt incredibly upset!
