Chapter 117: Don’t Be Afraid, I Won’t Be Far From You

Jiang Yutong finally found the opportunity to please Scarface after chiding Luo Zheng.

Luo Zheng bent forward and slowly picked up the broken porcelain pieces while thinking about her strategy. Hence, she did not notice that Scarface was glowering at Jiang Yutong menacingly, causing her to freeze in shock and stop in her tracks fearfully!

Luo Zheng could mostly guess what kind of a woman Scarface wanted.

He then put an arm around Luo Zheng and pulled her into his embrace. “Your hands are meant for playing the piano, not to perform lowly tasks like serving tea and drinks!”

Scarface clearly meant that he had chosen Luo Zheng!

Jiang Yutong could not help but stiffen indignantly.

Luo Zheng felt extremely uneasy while seated beside Scarface and she tried her best to keep a distance away from him.

Sensing that, Scarface retracted his arm and glanced at Luo Zheng coldly. “Why? Are you pretending to be innocent and pure in front of me?”

Realizing that she was in danger, Luo Zheng thought twice before she spoke. “Master Scarface, since I voluntarily entered City That Never Sleeps, what rights do I have to pretend to be pure? I just rarely interact with men so I’m not too used to it… ”

Luo Zheng then forced herself to gently hold onto his arm with a grin on her face. “I believe i’ll slowly get used to it after following you around, Master Scarface.”

Luo Zheng was acting in an appropriate manner. A little more and it would seem intentional and a little less would seem hypocritical.

Gu Changye deserved credit for it.
