“I can create reality with the flip of a hand now, one on par with this patch of reality. But still, it’s not the pinnacle I seek.” Lu Yun shook his head with a sigh. “Everything I create is based off of this part of reality. I would drift around rootless if we break away from this reality. There is no possibility of survival in an objective world in which nothing exists.

“Breaking all one hundred and eight seals is still insufficient to ensure escape.”

A tight frown creased his brow. He’d fully considered everything to come thanks to the determination of formula dao. His heaven and earth would absorb energy from the new heaven and earth once all of the seals were broken. It would be perfected, but he still wouldn’t be at the state of subjectivity affecting objectivity.

“What would be the point of me coming here if things were so easy that the mistress and Dao King could fully pave the road for me? They could’ve just accomplished everything in their era,” Lu Yun chuckled. “So what am I thinking about all of this for? What I should be considering is how to survive in this world.”

Entering reality through a dream was hardly an easy task. Although Lu Yun didn’t know the particulars, he could imagine that it took incredibly arduous effort. The barrier of nothing was indestructible and resulted in death if touched.

Even if the connection between the Tome of Life and Death and ten Yama Kings were severed, there was likely still a price to pay after Wanfeng entered this world through a dream.

Let’s take things one step at a time. Lu Yun had to wait since he was unaware of the situation in the nothing. There was no point fretting, especially as he should be focused on how to stay alive.

He followed the plant’s roots to find a sliver of heaven and earth. This was the only way he could strengthen his external circulation of heaven and earth apart from breaking the seals.

The young man settled into a routine of returning to Jingzhou City before night fell to hold off the ghost zombies, then exploring the world when the sun rose. Lu Yun wanted to find some clues as to the death of the world and the source of the ghost zombies.

He was certain that the ghost zombies used to be denizens of the world, that they’d turned into these horrifying entities due to various reasons.

“Can it be that the wondrous personage who created this reality is dead?” was Lu Yun’s speculation.

Of course, the notion that a subjective person created this reality was still speculation awaiting confirmation. Meanwhile, his strength continued to slowly increase.
