An eerie wind blew through the world, sending fear into the hearts of every living being. Murong Xue even flinched back at her level.

As for the kids, the paled instantly, shaking all over from terror. The blind uncle who looked to be in the Profound Heaven Stage was actually on Danqing Shen’s level.

Danqing Shen knew Zhuo Fan was at his level and couldn’t be pushed around. He felt tense against such equal opponent. 

Though it was far from making him fear it.

“You did in just a hundred years what it took me a thousand. Zhuo Fan, you’re one of a kind genius. You may be at my level, but we’ll only end our fight in a draw. I know that most of your power is within those eyes. I may not understand why, but it’s obvious you can’t use them now. You have no chance of stopping me as you are.” 

Danqing Shen jumped and pointed two fingers at the sky. Following a deep rumble, the heavens caved and roars echoed out, with dragons converging on his fingertips.

A power like no other fell from the sky, the destructive force covering the entire area.

Murong Xue was sweating. The kids were panicking.

[Is this a Sword King? We’ve never felt this before, not even from tens of Genesis experts joining hands.]

[All Sword Kings are out of this world. But can blind uncle stop it…]

The trio turned to Zhuo Fan with hope, only to see him calm as always.

They thought the worse.

[Even he is scared stiff in front of Danqing Shen’s power?]

Zhuo Fan was gone the next moment, popping just a meter from Danqing Shen.

The calm Danqing Shen turned frantic. His attack gathering in his fingers was sent slashing at Zhuo Fan with a flick of his wrist.

Zhuo Fan couldn’t dodge at this distance, taking the brunt of the attack. Any other Sword King would never take something like this head on, since it would cripple them.

Zhuo Fan’s right hand shone scarlet and grabbed.

With the roars of thousands of dragons, the attack carried the might of heavens and dragons as they went for Zhuo Fan. But Zhuo Fan merely caught it with his Qilin arm.

The rumbling grew in intensity, the clash sending blinding lights everywhere, along with violent shockwaves. They crumbled the earth, shook the skies and crushed mountains. The onlookers were overwhelmed.

[Is this a clash between Sword Kings? This is insane! What’s with all this shaking? Is the world coming to an end?]

Danqing Shen was just as incredulous, “How can you take on my sword with… one arm…”

A golden fire exploded from the arm, cutting off his words. The flames covered the sword wave, eliciting wails of dragons, while the Qilin arm squeezed. The powerful sword wave was devoured with a boom by the golden flames. 

While the mass of dragon power in the world around them faded out.

“The Decimating Sword Art?” Danqing Shen cried out.

Then a scarlet glow flicked across the air and a heavy power hacked at him. Zhuo Fan merely chopped, yet the scarlet wave felt like death to Danqing Shen.

Boom!

The attack shot into the sky, erasing everything for a thousand miles in its path. The mountain scenery surrounding Swordfall turned into a desert in an instant.

The kids watched agape as the dust roiled in the sky. The landscape changed all around them, the shock almost stopping their hearts.

Murong Xue was unable to believe such power existed and gulped.

The cunning devil from a hundred years ago became a Demon Archon. Who could stand up to him?

Danqing Shen’s white hair fluttered in the winds. Zhuo Fan took back his hand from the side of his face and said, “Old Dan, I may not have my eyes, but my skill remains. Now can you turn back?”

“Soaring Sword Art?”

Danqing Shen stared back with empty eyes. His smile turning bitter, “Yes, I can. I have no way of killing Luo Yunhai. There’s no chance for me when I’m stopped by someone who learned three divine sword arts to perfection. None… whatsoever…” 

Danqing Shen looked devastated and forlorn, leaving with hunched shoulders.

“Zhuo Fan, you deserve to have Vaulting Sword.”

And he left, back to central area.

Zhuo Fan was just too strong for him to defeat. The first strike stopped him, but the next would end him.

[The brat became the second Invincible Sword, ha-ha-ha…]

Zhuo Fan landed as he watched Danqing Shen go. Murong Xue no longer looked calm, shaking like a leaf.

“The four missing divine swords ended up with you a hundred years ago?”

“Yes, and no. You’ll know in time.”

Zhuo Fan walked back to the shack. The kids were silent from fear, even shivering. 

Zhuo Fan patted the girl’s head, “It’s fine now. Go back to your dad. Danqing Shen was beaten back so tell him to relax.”

“Uh, right…” Luo Sifan nodded.

Zhuo Fan smiled and patted her some more before going to Li Jingtian’s side. He inspected their wounds and nodded, “Miss Murong isn’t stingy with her medicine, using 10th grade pills. In a week, they should wake up and recover in a month.” 

“I’m never stingy with my patients. But it’s also because Danqing Shen didn’t go hard on them and crushed their spirit, or it wouldn’t be as easy.”

“Old Dan is an upright man, but in our world, sometimes you’re forced to do things against your principles, ha-ha-ha…” Zhuo Fan laughed, “Maybe he’d wanted this defeat.”

“Really? I didn’t notice him throwing the fight.”

“You can’t keep yourself from following your heart’s desire. This is old Dan’s way.” Zhuo Fan smiled.

Murong Xue mulled it over.

Luo Sifan plucked up her courage to say, “Blind uncle, do you and the Luo Alliance have history?”

Zhuo Fan smirked, then a jade slip shot into his hand. After a careful read, his face was hard, “Girl, speak to no one about today. Act like you never saw me. When the geezers wake up, take them and leave, understand?”

Everyone flinched.
