While the Kryptonians had been wiped out by Ling Jiu and the entire world was in a celebratory atmosphere, the remaining gods were paralyzed with terror.

The most powerful gods had been wiped out, and the rest were just small fry. Ling Jiu would definitely go after them. What should they do?

Meanwhile, in a palace at the center of Mount Olympus, several gods were quaking in their boots.

The pure water goddess nodded in acknowledgment. She understood their concerns. After all, the Greek pantheon had experienced three generational transitions.

The current gods were the third generation, with Zeus as the king of the gods.

There had been two prior generations in the Greek pantheon, namely the second generation of the Titans, and the first generation of the Primordial gods!

In contrast, the Primordial gods were too powerful to be killed. So they could only be permanently imprisoned on planet Olympus.

The pure water goddess believed that if they freed the Primordial gods, they would have hope. They might be able to defeat Ling Jiu, the human and restore the Greek pantheon's dignity, as well as the glory.

However, no one dared to do that.

The reason was, the Primordial gods were too powerful. No one was sure what would happen once the Primordial gods were freed.

"We better go with the first alternative." The god of sleep shook his head. "Destroy the wormhole to cut off the passage between Olympus and Earth. When that happens, the human won't be able to go to Olympus, and we will be safe."

"Me too!"

Several gods nodded in agreement. They had come to a consensus, so they went through the wormhole and arrived in Olympus at once.

Just when they were about to destroy the wormhole, the ground under their feet shook.

The god of sleep and others looked at each other as their faces changed. They rose into the sky in search of the repressive energy's source.

They then saw a towering figure rising tens of thousands of meters in the blue sky.

It just took Ling Jiu one teleportation to reach America.

The funny thing was, the Kryptonian had apparently seen him coming, and they were flying toward Antarctica.

Their intentions could not have been more apparent; they planned to return to Mars before Ling Jiu could find them and destroy the wormhole.

Sadly, things did not always go according to plan, as reality was cruel. Before they could fly out of America, Ling Jiu intercepted them.

"Where are all of you going, eh?"

"You-You-You're that human!"

The face of the leading Kryptonian sank, his voice trembling. "How did you arrive so fast?"

"Let's cut the crap. At present, you have one chance: surrender and become my obedient slaves. Don't say I didn't warn you." Ling Jiu waved his hand impatiently.

"Human, don't go too far! We, Kryptonians would rather die as martyrs than become your slaves!"
