Ling Jiu appeared in front of Arthur Austin, and the Emissian war blade materialized in his hand. He slashed Arthur's throat lightly with the blade and a streak of blood appeared on his neck.

The low-level Venom Suit on Arthur Austin was akin to a piece of paper before the Emissian war blade, which had severed his head from his neck.

Ling Jiu waved his hand, and Arthur Austin's body vanished, leaving only his head suspended in the air.

Ling Jiu then lifted the Time Halt.

"Molecularization Arcana!"

Arthur Austin continued from where he had left off when his consciousness resumed its function, but his head disappeared from the spot.

Ling Jiu turned his head and saw a tall figure shrouded in a Venom Suit appearing out of thin air.

"Euphemia Athena?"

Ling Jiu c.o.c.ked an eyebrow. He recognized the woman's voiceit was the former camp beauty.

"My advice to you, Ling Jiu, is to return Arthur's body immediately," Euphemia said in a frosty voice. "He has Molecularization Arcana. As long as the body is not completely dead, he can use Molecularization Arcana to reconnect with his head."

Euphemia had a stern look in her eyes. "But, once the vitality is gone, and the body is dead, Arthur will be dead. Therefore, time is running out!"

"Now I know," Ling Jiu said.

"That's a really buggy ability. To be honest, I am starting to covet it now. But too bad, time is running out."

"What do you mean?" Euphemia frowned.

"I plan to kill him, so why should I return his body to him? I'm not brain-damaged, okay?" Ling Jiu shook his head. "Take his head and go. At least there's something to be buried."

"You're playing with fire, Ling Jiu!"

The next moment, Arthur's head split in half.

Arthur Austin scrambled to perform Molecularization and went back to his original state a few hundred meters away. His face was grim, and disbelief filled his eyes.

"You How dare you"

"You should have talked nicely to me. I hate being threatened."

Ling Jiu shook off the blood from the blade. "Besides, when you piss me off, I won't hesitate to kill you even if you are the King of Heaven."

"Ling Jiu, do you know what you are doing?" Euphemia trembled with anger. "You will pay a heavy price for what you have done. Even your parents, your brothers and sisters, and your friends will bear the price for your stupid action."

A blade flashed across the air in front of Euphemia all of a sudden.

She looked in horror at Ling Jiu, who had appeared in the spot where she had stood earlier. "Madman! You're a madman!"
