Jiang Ruolan didn't say anything. She carefully placed her feet on the edge of the bathtub and said with a blushing face, "You go out first, I'll wash myself."

She could feel the fading flame in his eyes light up again. Jiang Ruolan quickly pulled the towel to cover her body. She was naked and her stomach was bulging a little, making her look like she had gained a lot of weight.

Xian Zihao only smiled, took the towel, and placed it within her reach.

"Wash well and call me when you're done. You can't walk on your own right now. If you randomly try to force yourself, you should know the consequences."

Jiang Ruolan nodded her head as she stroked her belly. "I know. I'll call you when I'm done."

Xian Zihao left the bathroom with a relieved expression.

The heat in the quiet bathroom increased. Jiang Ruolan raised her head and leaned against the bathtub's edge weakly.

Jiang Ruolan initially thought that their love was not like the love that should be present in every married couple. She thought that their feelings were none other than responsibility, a duty, but when she left him, she discovered that she really loved him.
