Chapter 77: I Won’t Touch You

“Okay, then Chen Chen, take good care of Hu Wan. I’ll go back first.” Hu Wan’s mother picked up her bag and left, afraid that she would disturb their private time.

When she saw her mother close the door to the ward, Hu Wan immediately said, “Chen Chen, are we going to distinguish between a man and a woman? We’ll be husband and wife tomorrow.”

“That’s tomorrow. At the very least, I won’t touch you now.” Chen Chen was very calm. He thought about it and continued, “Besides, even if we register our marriage, I won’t touch you either.”

“Why? Chen Chen, don’t you like me anymore?” Hu Wan’s eyes were already beginning to water.

After stubbing out his cigarette, Chen Chen laughed at himself. He stayed on the balcony for a while longer and turned to go back.

When he returned to the ward, Hu Wan had already gotten out of bed. She looked at Chen Chen and said, “Chen Chen, if you still hadn’t come back, I would have gone out to look for you.”

“Didn’t I tell you I was going for a smoke? Don’t get up. What if you catch a cold?” Chen Chen helped Hu Wan sit on the bed.

Hu Wan took the opportunity to hug Chen Chen’s waist and bury herself on him. “Chen Chen, sleep with me, okay?”

“What are you talking about?! I told you before, you’re a patient. I won’t do anything.” Chen Chen reached out and wanted to pull Hu Wan’s hand away.

Hu Wan used her greatest strength and hugged Chen Chen tightly. “Sleeping together doesn’t have to be anything. I just want you to hug me to sleep.”
