Bai Ran asked, “Then why are you back now?”

“I…” Chen Chen opened his mouth, not knowing how to speak.

He had already made it very clear that he did not want a divorce. However, when he thought of Hu Wan’s urging and his own recklessness, he really did not know what to do.

“Why are you always so determined? Don’t you miss me at all?” Chen Chen’s expression was gloomy when he heard this reply.

“Is it a question of whether I can bear to leave or not? It’s useless to say anything. We’ll go to the Civil Affairs Bureau tomorrow morning,” Bai Ran said as she pulled Chen Chen back. “Go back first. With our relationship, it’s not good for you to stay here.”

“I don’t want to go back.” Chen Chen suddenly grabbed Bai Ran and flipped over to press her down.

“What are you doing?” Bai Ran was pressed down hard and could not move.

“Don’t speak.” Chen Chen buried his face in Bai Ran’s neck and smelled the fragrance of her hair. He closed his eyes. “I’m not doing anything. I just want to hug you for a while. Just a while.”

Hearing Chen Chen’s gentle voice, Bai Ran closed her eyes silently, as if something in her heart was loosening…

Bai Ran opened her eyes suddenly and struggled hard to push Chen Chen away.

Chen Chen frowned impatiently and said, “Don’t move…”

“We can’t be like this. We’re getting a divorce…” Bai Ran said anxiously. Her body was still fighting, but Chen Chen’s body was still pressed tightly against Bai Ran.

“I told you not to move. If you twist around like this, a certain part of my body can’t take it!” Chen Chen touched Bai Ran’s head, wanting to comfort her.

“Then let go!” As soon as Bai Ran finished speaking, Chen Chen’s phone rang. She continued, “Now that you want to answer the call, you can get up.”

“I’m not letting go.” Chen Chen took out his phone from his pocket and picked up the call. His body remained motionless. “Hello, Mom.”

“Oh, Grandma called me home to eat. She even wants to bring Ran Ran along?” Chen Chen replied.

“What? How can I go?” Bai Ran struggled again. “Get up first.”

“Get up first?” Chen Chen’s mother heard Bai Ran’s voice on the other end of the line. She was still so close to the phone. Coupled with this sentence, her imagination instantly ran wild, and her eyes shone.

Her silly son was finally enlightened!

“My precious son, continue. I won’t disturb you anymore. You can come back tomorrow,” Chen Chen’s mother replied happily.

Bai Ran was very close and heard everything clearly. She quickly said, “No, Mom. You misunderstood. It’s not what you think.”

“Ran Ran, don’t be shy! Come back tomorrow!” Chen Chen’s mother hung up happily and reported to her grandmother.
