Chapter 42: World of Three

“I’m here to look for my wife. What does this have to do with you, Mr. Jiang?” Chen Chen raised his eyebrows and replied in the same tone.

Seeing that the two of them were about to become hostile, Bai Ran hurriedly said, “Young Master Chen, I’ve found someone to be with. Isn’t that what you wanted? Let me introduce you again. This is my boyfriend, Jiang Yun. Now that I’ve found him, you don’t have to care about me anymore, right?”

With that, she turned back and motioned for Jiang Yun to drive.

The car moved forward slowly. The three of them were silent as an awkward atmosphere filled the car.

At this moment, Chen Chen’s phone rang.

“Can you come and eat with me today?” Hu Wan’s delicate voice came through the phone.

Chen Chen glanced at Bai Ran and replied softly, “I’m a little busy today. I’ll head over later.”

With that, he hung up immediately, as if he was afraid that the two people in front would expose him.

“Are you just busy dating your ex-wife and her current boyfriend?” Jiang Yun mocked.

However, Bai Ran did not say anything. She looked a little lonely.

She knew that it was Hu Wan.

What was he trying to do? He was unwilling to leave either side behind and was unwilling to treat either side well.

Hu Wan retracted her hand and said decisively, “Of course. Anyway, the outcome now is that Chen Chen and I are getting married. He will really be mine soon!”

“Are you sure? He hasn’t even gotten a divorce yet,” Hu Wan’s mother said seriously.

“He’ll definitely get a divorce. Even if he doesn’t, I’ll still find a way to make him get a divorce.” Hu Wan clenched her fists. “He has been with me all these years. There’s no one else. Even his nominal wife was chased overseas by him. She could only come back because her mom was dying. Therefore, I believe he will accompany me until the end.”

“Xiao Wan, you’re too naive.” Hu Wan’s mother did not give her daughter any face. Seeing her daughter continue like this, she might as well give up earlier.

“Besides, if he knew about that…” At this point, she hesitated to continue.

“You should hurry back. Don’t worry about me.” As Hu Wan spoke, she lay down and covered her head with the blanket in frustration. She did not want to hear anything else.
