Chapter 113: Returning Home

“Then don’t forget that we’re about to lose our legal recognition!” Bai Ran imitated Chen Chen’s tone, but what she said was extremely ear-piercing to him.

“You’re talking about this again!” Chen Chen frowned and felt like fire was about to come out of his nose.

“Forget it. There’s something I really want to ask you.” Bai Ran thought of Gu Qian.

“Tell me,” Chen Chen said.

“Do you know a person called Gu Qian?” Bai Ran blinked and waited for Chen Chen’s answer.

“I know him,” Chen Chen said simply, his expression not very good. “Why? You bumped into him this time?”

“I heard you even beat him up for Sister Hu Wan!” Bai Ran looked at Chen Chen. Although she was smiling, there was a hint of questioning.

Chen Chen turned around immediately with a smile on his face. “I finally know why you rejected me so much when you saw me just now!”

“No!” Bai Ran turned her head and ignored Chen Chen.

“I haven’t said what the reason is yet! Why are you denying it so quickly?” Chen Chen looked at the road in front of him and confirmed that it was safe before leaning in.

“Drive properly. Why are you so close to me all of a sudden?!” Feeling Chen Chen’s aura around her neck, Bai Ran’s breathing was a little rapid.

When they arrived in the local city, Chen Chen brought Bai Ran to his house. When Bai Ran saw that the direction was wrong, she frowned and said, “This isn’t the way to my house! Send me home!”

Soon, the two of them returned to their new house. Chen Chen stopped the car.

“I didn’t say I was coming here, but you insisted on bringing me here!” Bai Ran was a little dissatisfied and was unwilling to get out of the car.

“Why? Did I wrong you? Which part of this place isn’t better than your little house?!” Chen Chen did not allow her to explain as he carried Bai Ran out.

Chen Chen kissed Bai Ran a few times before letting go.

Chen Chen placed Bai Ran on the sofa and prepared to cook something for her. He was about to walk to the kitchen when Bai Ran shouted, “There’s no need to go through so much trouble. I want to take a shower first. I spent the night at the clinic last night and want to change.”

“That’s right! Throw away all the clothes Jiang Yun touched! Wash away his smell!” Chen Chen suddenly said childishly when he heard this.

Bai Ran laughed immediately and said, “You’re not letting anyone touch me at all!”
