Qing gave a brief reply and went to follow her orders.

It was night by the time the medicine was done. Gu Chaoyan was done with exercising as well.

Qing stepped out of the room to prepare the hot water for the bath.

Gu Chaoyan concentrated for a moment and immediately, got a drop of water on her finger. She mixed it in the medicine, hoping that it would hasten the process of her beautification. Although she was confident about her medical skills, she did not mind taking some shortcuts.

After the medicine and bath, she laid down on the bed and slept.

Chen Fu continued speaking. “I am here to inform you that Duke Changning and his wife are here. They are asking for you to come to the front yard.”
