She was not displeased about Deputy Chief Zhang. It was quite normal that Deputy Chief Zhang, who was the imperial doctor for Madame Jiang, did not trust her much.

Gu Chaoyan brought out her bag of silver needles and placed it on the table. Then she said calmly, “The Young Master of the Wang Family was almost at the edge of death when no one was said to be able to cure him. But I did. Do you think that I could have cured the Young Master with the fun I have?”

It was not a serious disease, just that the old grandmother was suffering from high blood pressure. Gu Chaoyan took out her silver needles. Acupuncture plus some food therapy was needed.

The herbs and the fruits as well as the magical water from her personal space were more than enough to keep Madame Jiang healthy, so she could live dozens of years more.

At the sight of the scene, Deputy Chief Zhang rushed out in fright, trying to stop her, but Zhou Huaijin stretched out his hand and stopped him, staring at Deputy Chief Zhang with a lethal look.
