She did look pretty.

It was obvious that during the past few years, Gu Ruxue did spend a lot of effort in building herself up.

Seeing Gu Ruxue’s performance, Madame Gu nodded in satisfaction. Madame Duke Changning and Lu Jiming who were not faraway nodded as well.

Gu Chaoyan took a few sips of the tea, then she looked at the girl on the stage.

After a few moments, Gu Ruxue noticed something was going on. She felt that her clothes were slipping away. She had assumed that it was just an illusion, until she felt cool air coming towards her shoulders. It was at that moment did she realize that something wrong was happening!

She looked at the shoulders subconsciously, and got startled!

The garment on her shoulders started to crack open.

It should have been Gu Chaoyan’s clothes that had this problem?

Madame Duke Changning found it very embarrassing as well. She threw a glare at Madame Gu.

Madame Gu could not stand it any more, but hurried to the stage, asking Gu Ruxue to get off.

Gu Chaoyan followed the direction of the arm and saw Princess Xunyang’s ironic face. “You did this, didn’t you?”

Or... well, I have shown her some mercy.” Gu Chaoyan said as she watched Gu Ruxue’s ridiculous performance.
