She was seized with unbearable pain when that mouthful of food entered her stomach.

She pursed her lips, shoved Yuan Xuan aside and ran to the bathroom on the first floor. She threw up uncontrollably.

Mu Chenyan vomited until she had nothing left to throw up except for bile. Her body spasmed as she curled up into a ball. Snot and tears were running down her face before she finally stopped puking.

Yuan Xuan was terribly worried. He held her weak body tightly and said, “The alcohol must have irritated your stomach and made you sick!”

Mu Chenyan did not want to argue with him. She did have trouble eating and sleeping these few days, and her body temperature fluctuated. On top of everything, she went and got herself drunk last night. It was not surprising that there was something wrong with her now.

“I think… It was probably more than a month ago?”

Mu Chenyan glanced at Yuan Xuan when she replied. It seemed like she was asking for his opinion…

Yuan Xuan was silent, but he could not conceal the joy on his stern face.

A month’s time had definitely passed. The last time he remembered it happening was when she fell into the water with Qinger.

“Are we expecting a new addition to the family?”
