The young woman’s expression remained unchanged upon hearing that. She glared at the pointed end of the dagger with an icy gaze before a trace of a smile appeared on the corner of her mouth. She did not seem to be a bit fearful but mocked him instead. “Are your skills only limited to kidnapping children and brandishing daggers to commit violent acts?”

The criminal’s face was ferocious, his eyes had a cruel expression in them. He clamored, “You’re not afraid of this? I’m going to make you cry!”

The crowd gathered around in a circle, quietly observing as spectators. The woman knew that situations like these would result in the bystander effect where no one would voluntarily help her as the crowd grew bigger.

Moreover, she was at a disadvantage because she was fighting these two people while holding on to the child.

The child’s mother was still trailing behind them. She would have to wait until the child was safe before making her move.

The young man became more arrogant when he saw her hesitating. He continued to shout loudly, raising a commotion and telling the middle-aged woman on the ground to get up. “Zhang Xiu, hurry up, take the child and run first. Let me handle this woman!”

The name is depicted to describe a situation where someone shows up unexpectedly and disrupts a plan.), had to appear. Prepare to die!”

It was certainly extreme arrogance for a kidnapper to kidnap a child in broad daylight and put up a huge fuss!

The woman dodged his attacks while waiting for the right moment to strike back. She aimed at Zhao San’s knee and struck him hard till he collapsed on the group. She leaped forward and slipped into the crowd to hide.

When those two hoodlums clambered up and saw that more and more people had gathered around them, they attempted to flee because they were too afraid to continue fighting.
