His slender thighs were gently crossed while both his hands were stuffed in his pockets, making him appear carefree but distant. His dark gaze was attentively fixed on the woman’s indifferent face.

She cared so deeply about the wellbeing of a mere maid but had no space for him in her heart.

The images that he could not erase from his mind put him in a terribly bad mood. The man’s face darkened even further as he ignored both the women and walked straight toward the dining room.

Ah Fu frantically suppressed her excitement when she saw that the Young Master had already come downstairs. Then, she obediently went to the kitchen to bring out the dishes.
