The corners of Mu Chenyan’s mouth curled into a faint smile while she continued to appear indifferent. She remained silent to rebuff Old Mistress.

Nonetheless, her current emotions made her reluctant to leave. She gently rubbed herself against his body like a stray cat that had wandered around outside for too long. Now that she had finally found a warm nest, she could not help herself from burrowing inside it.

She terribly wished that he had stood by her side like this two years ago.
